The wardens it will come down to cost and if they fix the damage on custodes weapons.
The main problem is that the codex units are kind of overpriced and their weapons have variable damage. Especially since most of them are foot slogging. Allarus have a lot of things going for them due to strategems, but the damage is still questionable. The best units are saggitrums because they have some pretty nice shooting and thus make good back objective holders. The venatari are better bikes because they are almost as fast, have devastating shooting, and have a shield that doubles as a power axe, and the galatus dreadnought because they're just crazy. Ofc all these units have 9th Ed rules because they're forge world.

The warden I think will never be too good due to load out. Unless they get some new crazy ability or strat
I didnt want to go bike spam and got 6 Venatari along with Sagitarum so I am set as is. I have a grav tank waiting to get built and I will proxy the new character unit too. Pretty fun project I will say that.

new Speedfreaks renown rules seem nice, I'm sure the penalties balance out the free invulns. Probably not gonna run it anyway. Would rather take killa cans because their pure souls have won me over and they might be a good escort for Ghazz with some deff dreads now that hes a fat unhealable bastard. I dont feel like any wagon bought for him would live to see turn 2 anyway.

It's really fucking long if you've played within the last year or so. Lots of opportunities to praise them if you like. Don't see why anybody would but they really want to give you that option.

I must have answered wrong.

"When was the last time you played Warhammer"

"Why?"
No one in the area, new rules are bullshit....

"OK THANKS BYE""
"Global pandemic"
"Not hard core enough letting some cooties get in your way"

Welp, maybe it's time to do a 2nd edition fan revival again?
