my takeaway: desperate measures in desperate times is super ungood! just take it and never ever try to improve your station or simply try to survive.
why you even have a WAR in warhammer then I have no idea...
(I know it was never supposed to get that deep since it was just virtue signaling regarding the twitter outrage of the week, but that's what happens when you knee-jerk virtue signal to appease the screeching twittertards).

they do, but if they already can print and play with literally everything, why the fuck would they want to stick with warhammer of all things?
Yeah but most seemingly dont really want to try its why I still kinda argue all this recast and 3D printing talk of killing GW is dumb. Technically, you still push the GW market share if you still play the game itself even with non GW rules and non GW models. I am also not agasint it since a good part of my Raptors have 3D printed bits, and my custodes have recasted models.

Its like video game pirating dont make it seem like its this morally superior option to stick it to the man. You see you can get this crap for little to no cost and we all do it.

GW is big enough to not die over night, even blizzard still has their hardcore cadre of drones where some troon dev could shit in their mouth and they'd still buy a 6 month sub. but every 500 bucks you don't spend on GW's plastic crack are 500 bucks that end up somewhere else, even if it's just resin and pirated models (although those are so cheap there's no reason not to and lot of people are more open to voluntarily support some indie sculptor for 10-12 bucks per month than some corporation like GW).

another effect I've seen and what I meant is that once people look beyond GW and see that there's other (and better, ymmv) stuff out there it's much much easier to slowly branch out and move on than people that limit themselves to only "GW approved models and rules". baby steps, but they might lead somewhere else.

Here’s another homebrew, to wash that taste of Arch out of the thread. Do you guys homebrew your armies?
Tempestus Scion Regiment

The frigid planet Fethor II was “honoured” for overpaying it’s tithes with a Schola Progenium campus, with the facility came the “Fethorian Trench Devils” named after the planet’s greatest landmark. Greenak, an immense fortress built in the Vullmark plains and surrounded by miles upon miles of trenches and minefields. All that remains of an Iron Warrior garrison from the Great Crusade.

The campus made use of the ancient fortress (Perturabo seething) and turned the orphans of the Fethor system into a full regiment.

Distinguished from other regiments by bronze armor, fur lining and their….. unusual choice of auxiliaries, Ogryns. The moon of Fethor II-A was once an Orgyn colony, when the moon’s failing gravity necessitated it’s destruction the Ogryns were migrated to Fethor II, becoming miners, ranch hands and valued members of the PDF.

Ogryns native to the Fethor System are easily distinguishable from their cousins by the sheer amount of hair they possess, nicknamed “Were-gryns” by the locals.

Fethor sits at the precipice between Imperium space and the Ghoul Stars, the constant Xeno threats forced the Tempestus to adapt with monsters of their own.

Essentially loosely-Romanian Scions, dressed like they’re from Dead Space 3 and bolstered by not-werewolves. On the edge of civilization.

Attached are images that sort-of inspired these guys and their retard walking-carpet sidekicks.

“Were-gryns” do not yiff like those Space Wolf faggots.

I dig it! Throwing them out to the Ghoul Stars gives you a lot of room for all sorts of stuff.
It's why I play Deathwatch, it's a blank check to do all sorts of things that a normal army couldn't.
Thanks, I love the idea of “my guys” being largely detached from the greater crisis.

My dudes care more about hunting down their arch-enemies, the Rak'gol.

“Oh, heretics cut the the galaxy in half? Well heretics never raided my colony, didn’t eat my brother and cut my girlfriend’s augmetics out of her head.”

The Fethorian Trench Devils have never faced heretics, the Warp is pretty pathetic in the Ghoul Stars so the main threat is aliens who want to rape your skulls. Another Dead Space reference I suppose.

So it appears Games Workshop has made a response to the ongoing controversy of someone wearing clothing with Falangist symbols at a tournament in Spain. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/11/19/the-imperium-is-driven-by-hate-warhammer-is-not/

I find this statement to be okay. For one, it says that there are no good guys in 40k, so suck it sigmarxism, you'll have to play morally dubious factions and like it. And it makes sense for a company to say that if you're causing a disruption to their business by wearing political symbols, they are going to tell you to leave. Hell, I'd go for an outright ban of wearing anything associated with a political or social group because it is just going to cause more problems.

The other thing is that this statement is just like the "Warhammer is for everyone" statement. GW is saying that they are taking a stand against intolerance without actually doing anything. Considering that this whole controversy started at a non-GW tournament, they have no control over it. GW will take a card-carrying fascist's money, just as long as it isn't in public.

Though get ready for Arch to make a 20 long minute seething video about how this is the SJW takeover of Games Workshop.

Games Workshop said:
... we do not want your money.
Ah, yes, the Nirvana approach. I'm seeing this everywhere lately, but coming from fucking GeeDubs is fucking hysterical, as it's a fucking lie.
we dont want yer monies- they say as they stab their hand to pull out your kidney.jpg
Yes, I know that $150 bucks coming from them, is actually pretty cheap, but still, them telling anyone they don't want their money is just... wow

Why yes
I'm a vegan
I'm a cyclist
I 3d print
How could you tell?

So with Corona fucking over both AoS and 40k recently I wonder if the apparent Chaos refresh will get a lot of people happy. I know a lot recently like to say GW has an Imperium bias but I typically always felt GW had the boner for Chaos.

Doesn't help that people like this do videos on this shit as well. If this can't gain traction on both sides for whatever reasons then it's dead in the water. It's how social justice works. Doesn't matter which side of the pond you're on social justice is social justice. Just play your games the way you want, if tournaments aren't to your liking, make your own. Leave these fuckwits alone since all they want to do is to destroy your hobbies.

Are there any companies that do Orc models without the large heads and jaws? I'm not always a fan of the Games Workshop look of orcs.

Well GW's newer sculpts have smaller heads compared to their bodies, dontcha think? I also find it curious that it appears GW still has yet to update the old Ork Boyz box to the 9th Ed. format, leaving it up in the air as to whether GW will turn the new Combat Patrol monopose Boyz into an individual kit or perhaps release new multipart Boyz.

They still look like GW Orks to me. I prefer my Orks to not look like cartoon characters.

Those two clown spergs have a lolcow thread for a reason. They're insufferable cry babies. Interesting, in the comments many people are also citing fellow lolcows like Sargon and Razorfist (who both have cow threads here as well) as the new proper champions of the fanbase. Plus there's that Arch faggot. I'm surprised so many people are that oblivious to these trainwreck lolcow youtubers.

These people are going only going to make things worse.

Had a guy unveil an Arbites “Riot Division” at game night. Using Imperial Guard rules obviously.

What warrants a post is that…… he had an Arbites kneeling on a Genestealer’s neck. I don’t think anyone else saw it but I did.

I think he sculpted “black lips” onto said Genestealer.
