I wish gaming could be the same way it was in the 80's where we would game while the rest of society bitched about how it ruined lives. It fell on deaf ears and was quickly forgotten. Even with the FBI labeling various RPG and game creators as dangerous in the early 1990's it went no where. Now people are too stupid to just let what the dipshits say slide and just game so it's ruining gaming as a whole. In some cases the only decent place to game now is the one you set up for people you know well enough.
 
Watching the latest Adeptus Podcastus they are actually talking about the Warhammer is for everyone event, and christ the double think is real. You'd have think that Spaniard forcibly pushed trannies out of the store rather than just dress as an edgy boy. They basically go "Warhammer is for everyone unless you believe in a set of values that can be anything to the right of Stalin", and the justification is that by dressing as a fascist you drive people out of the hobby, while playing what the same people describe as "space fascists" is alright. Classic clown world.

And one of the members fucking sounds like he is tearing up about an event that wasn't even politically motivated and doesn't concerns him in any way.

It's also hypocritical as fuck since the podcast members praise GW for policing its customers, while they spent the last couple of months demonizing GW for policing people leeching off it's IP. But censorship is alright if it's against the correct group of people.

I muscled through the old podcasts with Alexis, and barely tolerated Mike, just to listen to Remleiz.
Remleiz is fine on his own, and based when out of earshot of the perpetually perturbed, but I dropped him a while back when I realized that he'll never kill the golden goose.
The cringe that surrounds him just ain't worth it.
 
Having toyed with the idea for a couple of years i’m finally giving armies on parade a go with a Deathguard / Nurgle daemon themed board. All I need to buy is the start collecting daemons of Nurgle box, Wyldwood terrain set and another box of plague drones and I should be good to go.

I keep up with it since it's a good way to follow the series lore and models without anyone being too subjective, but the podcast grew far worse in the last year with barely any interesting guests (I think half of the last year episodes are Snipe and Wib or Remleiz assistant), Remleiz not allowing any fun conversations because he is a teacher (then why even make a podcast about a grimdark series?) and they barely touch any of the posted questions.
I wonder if there's some drama behind the scene, but I doubt anyone cares to comb through a E tier Youtuber discord.

Mike/Tactica Imperialis is the teacher/stick in the mud.
Remleiz/40K Theories is the NEET at home on tugboat money because of his back.
But otherwise, I agree.
Shame though. Remleiz is old school, but toes the line these days to not get canceled and lose his Patreon.

I'm actually amazed they don't try to fuck over resellers on Ebay due to skelpers overcharging. They fucked over people in Canada buying from the United States since it can be 25% to 30% cheaper at some stores. Similar to how WotC fucked over players too.

“This kit has uses in MANY armies and game systems, overproduce it!”

Instead of,

“We need moar Stormcasts and box sets.”

To each their own, I’m glad you enjoy them.

Guy in my group loves turning them into Blood Angels, turned his half of Dominion into BAs. Even filed the tits off the female ones and bulked up their proportions.

I dunno, man. It just seems like GW's whole system is bassackwards right now. Example: I ordered some upgrade kits off Forge World on the 6th. Then I ordered the Apothecary two-pack on the 11th. That was a Monday, and they were on my doorstep by noon that Thursday. Fastest turnaround I've ever seen from GW/FW. Meanwhile, it's been almost a month and the upgrade packs haven't even shipped yet. Who knows what's going on anymore.
