They aren’t out of stock either since other issues have that as a label above them. These people need to get their collective shit together!
Australia is getting a tiny bit of reprieve and their price will not increase. Thank god their price is already insane.Price of the brick is going up: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/02/09/important-pricing-news/
5% on kits, 10% on Chinese products (books, scenery) as well as resin minis. No increase on paints, tools, or starter sets. Prices change goes live on March 7th.
I don’t think they were and don’t expect updates in books as they’ll post updates for rules and other things on the Warhammer Community website. Were those made core in that update from a few months ago, and does GW ever release updated codexes with this shit?
Huh why is paint not increased? Lumbers been in the shitter for books so I get that. Even the krylon paint cans I’d use over citadel have been rising in price yet GW doesn’t? Something is up GW has the hidden paint pond or something.Price of the brick is going up: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/02/09/important-pricing-news/

My guess is that they have shifted costs on other things to keep paint and tools at their current price. Same with the starter sets because those are the entry points for the hobby.Huh why is paint not increased? Lumbers been in the shitter for books so I get that. Real talk I hope this makes them realize dropping dumb cartoons and embracing a living codex method through Warhammer+ in the future. Also you can still sell books but only charge the price for the special edition codexes and bam. Hire me you Anglo fucks.
And yet the cost of alternatives on Etsy stays the same, despite rising costs.Price of the brick is going up: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/02/09/important-pricing-news/

I miss the old school cardboard terrain.I remember the ancient Necromunda box. Carboard terrain with plastic endcaps. I don't think they were on sprues, either. That was smarter than any of this "Sector Hububububabub" crap. Yes, I like the GW terrain. But you know what I'd like more? A $100 Necromunda getting started box that had two gangs + enough terrain to fill a gameboard with + full rulebook. A $99 getting started box of Kill Team or Necromunda or what have you is "michevious birthday gift from an uncle that knows his shithead brother is gonna have to buy the paints / brushes / hobby tools / etc in a month" level of price.
I'm honestly surprised there's no 3rd party filling that void. Those little bulkheads were like one of three versions (open, closed, half closed with ladder) and would be easy to have China print in mass, and the cardboard would have to be pretty cheap to print and cut. They could even expand the range (ramps, stairs, etc) as well.I miss the old school cardboard terrain.
There’s a website called battle systems that I found but the prices are extortionI'm honestly surprised there's no 3rd party filling that void. Edit: Dear god save me, I'm actually eyeballing a White Dwarf subscription.
I wonder if there's any recreations of the old paper imperial base terrain from 2EAnd that’s only enough to cover a 2x2 tile. You could probably stretch it out over the new minimum board size of 44x30 inches but it wouldn’t look that great.
My goal is to recreate these when I eventually make my own table.I wonder if there's any recreations of the old paper imperial base terrain from 2E

you're supposed to buy the core space box :>There’s a website called battle systems that I found but the prices are extortion
you could always ask on /po/, they might even have a scan somewhere. there's also some scifi papercraft terrain around (there a dozens for fantasy), worst cast you'd have to print it yourself or ask a printshop.I wonder if there's any recreations of the old paper imperial base terrain from 2E
Well that’s interesting. As I don’t play LotR how long are kits generally out of circulation before coming back to market?
