The demo for this game is up on Steam if anyone wants to try it. Its made by the same developer studio as the one that made the Guns, Gore and Cannoli franchise.
Played the demo. It's literally the first level. It plays like a metal slug but can't really go from anything else gameplay wise. The first level is very basic. Love the call to adventure and the presentation though.

The creators of Dark Tide has apperantly sponsored a Lutein video on their game's world. Which is honestly all right, just hope the game won't be generic L4D clone.

I was blasé about Rogue Trader until they implied that you can choose heresy.
This could mean a good game with multiple sides like New Vegas.
Beasides- Rogue Traders in lore constantly walk on the razors edge, the thin line between loyalty and inquisitors bolter slug to the brain.

Now that's a pleasant surprise. The way the article's worded makes it sound like they might remove the CQC options for Leviathan dreads but that might just be me reading too much into it.

Yeah, that's what it sounded like to me as well, which would be dumb considering the drill and the claw are basically its default weapons.

I run a blood angels leviathan in 40k. Custom leviathans are one of the coolest units and army can have.

Post a model you just finished.... you are painting, right?

I'm pretty excited for Rogue Trader, it's always been my favorite part of 40k because I really don't do a lot of war gaming. Liked WotR a lot and there's very few crpgs set in space, and a tiny handful of ones that are actually good. I will remain cautiously optimistic and force my computer to run the inevitable buggy mess at release.

It'll almost certainly be a reskinned L4D clone but so are the Vermintide games and they're great. I'm optimistic about Darktide although the premium currency could be a red flag.
