"Blood Angels will be posterboys..."

Ah so the whole thing is fake. Thank you for clarifying.
A followup leak suggested it's less that they're posterboys, it's just that they painted the demo army as Blood Angels (because currently Blood Angels vs Nids are a thing). But who knows?

I don't like the idea of them bringing two primarchs back, seems like this could easily be a ~thing~ they just start doing every edition, and seems cheap. Having said that, fuck the smurfs for being special.

>2 primarch
you mean....5?

The only thing that perks my interest is the Jump Packs which will fully finish my needs for a primaris army. Id just want them to bring in my Biker HQs and ill be good. Life has been a pain in the ass so a lot of my projects have gotten side tracked. Was hoping to start Orks by now but still am lagging on a marine/LOTR project. World Eaters coming earlier than I expected though really makes me want to finish up. My 30k plans have fully just been moved to 2023 I want to wait and see what else to bring into plastic then get what I can from there. Fingers crossed for the deimos Rhino and plastic assaults infantry too

I guess im lucky I was never really a fan of the non codex chapters? So if 10th is the Angel wankery ill be fine.

2nd edition. You know, back in 2nd edition we had a ruleset and datasheets that lasted longer than a week. We had a clear playing system that didn't involve 15 minutes of movement and 3 hours of rules lawyering. Maybe they could bring that back instead.

More rumors, pertaining to chaos daemons rules this time

-new Khorne herald model the "Rendmaster"
-One Greater daemon per detachment; all greater daemons have inflated wound counts to put them on par with knights
-Invulns are now replaced with variant saves that ignore AP and give you a different save value depending on if the attack was ranged or not (The CSM d-prince already has this in a way with a 4++ at ranged and a 5++ in melee). The values in the daemons book vary depending on the god allegiance of the model.
-most auras turned into command phase abilities
-squad sizes limited to 10 and 20 varying on the unit in question
-most units get free deepstrike instead of having to pay CP
-Nurgle FNP now -1 Damage, much like DG
-nurglings moved to FA
-plaguebearers T 5 2W
-Tzeentch Save is 3++ at ranged 5++ in melee
-treason of tzeentch psychic power now turns off auras
-horror splitting is now free on a 5+
-all Khorne demons getting +1 T
-Bloodletters weapons are now d2 and the bonus attack is rolled into their statline (capped at units of 10)
-Slannesh still has fights first but now also fight on death
- Daemonettes get full rerolls and auto wounding on 6 (still get to be a unit of 20)
-Belakor removes some list building limitations
-Chaos Furies completely removed
-Summoning reworked as a kind of redeploy mechanic

Even if it's all hogwash the changes are in line with the current rules trends.

Random army or KT idea, and I'm absolutely certain this has been done before:

An all white Khorne army -- actually weren't the world eaters white before the heresey? -- but with blood splatter and dried blood covering their armor. The new red shades, one of which is meant for blood effects, might be interesting for this.

There is a cool khorne warband scheme in AoS where they made their armor out of the bones of fallen Warriors

Just got a 10-pack of 40mm bases for $0.72.
Gift cards FTW!

eBay has 40mm bases for fairly cheap, and they're indistinguishable from GW bases other than missing some of those doughnut hole spacers underneath them.
