[Redacted] or [Redacted] because I know if GW every brings one of the lost primarchs, that will be the biggest shitstorm to happen to 40k save Big E getting off the throne or fantasy end times 2: galactic boogaloo.
Starting to see a bit more cope from "leftist players" of muh female primarch headcannon because of the male only space marine meltdown, so it be a good idea to snip that in the bud. And I know people like arch would have an aneurism, so the idea that GW can piss off two sets of autists is a win-win scenario.
Plus tbh the whole idea behind the lost legions seems outdated. Correct me if I'm wrong but the main reasons for them where a history refence to the lost roman legions in Teutoburg Forest and for players to create their own OC donotsteal legions. The first I still think is valid but the second is cringe and irrelevant since everyone just makes their own chapters instead.
Back in the day I never got the impression that the lost legions were for your self inserts. People made their own chapters back then too, and 30k stuff was more historical background than something you actually played with. (People absolutely did, of course.)

I don't know I feel like giving an answer to a question that was never really meant to have an answer ever really goes well

As a former professional player, who was one of the founding members of the Siren Bomb back in 3/4 era. As a person who ran high stakes tournaments where people actually won real money, I will say why I left the game all together.

The rules absolutely suck.
Secondly knowing all of the nonsense that went on for 30+ years and reading all of the financial information in the process. It came down to Games Workshop major investors using the company as their own personal ATM machine.

As proven by their actions they have no intentions of changing their policies. They have too many Grognards that will keep them afloat.

If they ever fix the rules I go back to playing the game but I know they won't

So like many of us we went to play video games. It's too bad really they did have something special going. It's just sad how things are.

That's my feeling. Along with like... the traitor primarchs weren't given that treatment, so therefore whatever they did is logically WORSE. Like... how would you come up with something to fit that bill?

Oh fuck, I just got an idea of what you could do. It'd require you to want to make the Emperor look quite evil, so nu-GW would love it.

There's several. I'm sure 30 years ago it would have been some sort of unspeakable war crime or military failing, but now? Gay, female, pregnant, trans, religious, pacifist, diplomatic or xenophile. There are all kinds of "good" things that the Emperor could have considered "unforgiveable" in nu-GW cannon.

Tbh ive not had much interest in actually playing 40k since heresy came out. I think the 7th+ rules set is much better and over all less aggravating.

Not quite. He's on a planet somewhere in the Eye of Terror, hunting a Word Bearers' warband, who are building a temple. Think it's meant to be set, either during or just after the Scouring.

He's taking them out one by one, with the intent of drawing Lorgar out. Forms himself into a murder of crows that tears a marine to shreds, one of them screams over the vox and the rest are wondering what could cause a marine to scream like that, before they eventually scatter back to the portal, where Lorgar appears.
The warband are saying it's a daemon but Lorgar knows who it is, calls Corax out, who says something along the lines of "we are made of warp and now I'm in it, I've learned how to use it" before the two primarchs go at it.

Corax fucks Lorgar up so he runs back through the portal, ignores any of the Word Bearers and locks himself in the Church, and hasn't came out since.
Lorgar, once a bitch, always a bitch. Especially when he doesn't have Curze to bail him out.

We just cycle out when they include the stuff in 10th remember even AoS was a beta test for 8ths rules. Still waiting on the HH releases I need however I am happy the Deimos Predator is here. Really just want a plastic Xiphon and or Plastic Assault mk.6.

I also just think people play on tables that are way to small I know its the minimum but come on its the minimum a lot of armies just look whack in battle reports now since they all do the minimum.

A bigger board just means that assault armies dont get to play.

I suppose…okay wait for me HH chads. However, I am partial to GWs side games more recently Blood Bowl getting new Amazons and LOTR will always be their best ruleset.

Even if they're almost certainly bringing the lion back next what loyalist primarch do you actually want back most?
Personally I want Dorn to return, since they never confirmed 110% that he's dead and I'm an IF fanboy, but realistically speaking I'd like to see Vulkan come back.

There's no way they could do it justice at this point. They've spent 30+ years building up the mystery of the lost primarchs; any answers they give beyond what we already have is going to be a letdown.

Your options were better than mine, probably.

Mine was "they were crusading together and found a group of Thunder Warriors, then developed kickass squads formed around them until the Big E found out and reeeeee'd".

Cute art, love the sister at the bottom, clear implications.

Has anyone ever noticed how weirdly defensive tau fans are? When you give the tau any amount of shit about lore or anything they seem to come out of the woodwork to defend the taus to the death

I mean come on "they found his arm not his body" is peak clearly not actually dead bait he'll probably come back with a cyber power fist or some shit

i hope the guard even if they are the last 9th edition codex get treated well when they do even if I don't play they are very much tied for my very favorite faction

I'd also like Dorn to come back, but I want him to be drastically changed in his absence.

Not just a big ol' powerfist to replace his missing hand, I'm thinking more like a Primarch in a giant Dreadnought.

Anyone has any good site for newer black library books? Asking for a Freeboter boy.

One of the more interesting pieces of fluff about the Imperial Fists is that one of their chapters has a Red Thirst analogue that originated from the massive despair Dorne had when he found the dying Emperor.
