To give credit to the writers the Ultramarines are just about the only chapter who did absolutely fuck all during the Horus Heresy so they would have a surplus of marines sitting around to turn into successor chapters.

Why all the hate for chaos? It's the only system where success or failure is rewarded fairly. You win, you get followers, power*, and more guns. You fuck up, you end up as a chaos spawn. Totes better than an already-laid-out-for-millenia arbitrarily arranged system where the top 1% are rewarded richly, and fuck the other 99%. Anyone with backbone & wits enough can get a gun or 'choppa and work their way to the top. Daemon Prince, baby!

I like playing Dark Panzies for 1 main reason.

Speed.

Either I play well and I ROFLMAOstomp you because I matched up my units right or you hand me my ass on turn 2 because I did a stupid move or took a risk and lost to the RNG gods.

Or your a cheese eating Tau or Necron player and I leap over the table to throttle you to death and get disqualified again...and no I don't care that Timmy is only 9 you don't bring 3 Monoliths to the table you cheese eating FoF spamming fucktard.

Either way it's a quick, intense match that's over before you know it.

Eh, it's such a non issue that I can't believe he talked for 40 minutes about it. I don't know the numbers, but I'm struggling to believe that this game had a huge female player base. And among that, even fewer diehard danger hair feminists.

GW has a niche market of autistic savants that want to do math and bathe in the blood of their enemies.

I can't paint for shit so I ain't gonna buy the models, but I am interested in the lore.

I like the bolter bitches Sisters of Battle.
They have an interesting background and I always wonder what the fuck went on before the Golden Throne.

The Imperium pre-Horus Heresy was a silver age for humanity, an authoritarian, but rational empire where much of the technology that was lost in the Age of Strife, when old humanity fell apart, was regained. Basically it was humanity's renaissance after a decisively painful dark age.

Paint? Nobody paints. Everybody just base coats black and then dry brushes over it.
