It was hilarious because orks weren't dominating tables at that point and out of nowhere GW crushed one of the two things they did well this edition for no reason, addressing a problem that didn't exist anymore.

Right? I could see it as a reactionary move when that Freebooterz list tabled an opponent in turn one in a GT last year, but now?

"Bro, where's all the chicks from the Sororitas convent?"

"Sister Superior voxed and said they'd be late, they had to pick up some amasec and anointing oil. Anyway, bro, like I was saying, it's not like I want the Imperium to fall apart, you know? Like, I've spent a long time fighting for the Imperium, bro, you know me."

"Yeah, no more loyal Ultramarine than you, bro."

"But, and hear me out, bro, what if... it's already fallen apart? What if we're just picking up the pieces?"

"Nah, that's heresy talk, bro. Sure, the IoM has seen better days, but it's hanging in there. Hey, pass me another Konor's Honour."

"I wonder if the primarch ever thinks about this stuff."

"Nah, bro, he's too busy cruising around in his flagship and having 'conferences' with that Yvraine chick."

"Now that's some real heresy right there, bro! Wouldn't mind polishing her soulstone, y'knowwhatimean bro?"

"Bro!"

I saw this on Etsy while looking for c'tan proxies. The Ukraine shit is cringe but otherwise it's pretty funny if you play guard.

Their departments don't talk to each other, like marketing doesn't meet with writers, and they never speak to the game testers. That's how you end up with worthless codices with datasheets that plain contradict gear options. To top that off, this current edition is being managed by one of the most inept, retarded imbeciles in the whole business.
If this is true I might not be as worried about 40k being co-oped like star wars/trek was. Even if a couple of leftist try to make the grimdark future more diverse, they can't use the easy route of controlling the main departments and beating the rest into submission since said main departments seem to barley have control over their direct staff let alone influence other departments.

Granted I'm still expecting to see some woke shit to come out, but that's to be expected when BL shits out what, 20-30 books a year.

Ya know, that joke would have worked if the Orks really DID have warships. Also, man I wonder how stupid these people...company feel when that line turned out to be bogus
Uh.... we talking space or aquatic? Because they've got both. Ghazkhull sent some massive submarine troop transports as part of a flanking strike on Helsreach where a certain Grimaldus was leading the defense.

Ya know, anyone rarely mentions the aquatic ones...infact I barely hear anyone talk about it.

aquatic stuff is a fairly neglected facet of 40k
Henry Zou did a book called Flesh and Iron that included amphibious Imperial Guard troops and an actual blue-water naval force, but then it turned out he'd plagiarized parts of the book from an Iraq War memoir and GW pulled damnatio memoriae on him when they got sued over it. There was also a Ciaphas Cain short story that had him doing Die Hard on an ocean liner, but other than that I can't think of any books that deal with the concept, which is kind of a shame.

You know, bouncing around threads tonight, and, as stupid as it is, Arrested kidnapper and kidfucker Gazi "Black Hitler" Kodzo's Black Hamer lolcult has an icon that would make an absolute banger of a Space Marine icon.
