What does everyone think of the Battle for Vedros stuff? The paint set seems like a rip but the Starter set is Assault on Black Reach for 50 bucks. Thats a lot of shit for that money.

You'd be waiting awhile, first added faction is Marines, and next are probably gonna be Necrons, then Tau, then Nids, going by the tabletop it's based on.
I'll buy now if the addons are free, but I tend to wait until at least a few things get bundled. Probably will just wait till the spooky scary robo skellies are in or so, so that I can get a slightly better deal.

I think the build+paint thing is a good idea. Maybe GW will bother making Orks not shit anymore.

So, got some MP in for Gothic tonight, and I think I met a player who truely encompases what it means to be an ork.

Ramming one of my (retreating to the warp) ships INTO the other, while coming out of a time dilation field like it was no thing. And yes, Imperial ships are amazing looking.

I really hope the tabletop of this comes back when specialist games is relaunched.

Finally finished the tracks for my one and only counter to a Land Raider that isn't a powerklaw, the lifta-droppa wagon, hopefully the new ork flyer will be bristling with STR10 AP2 weapons.

I'm never scratch building tank tracks again.

Still working on my Tau, been lazy lately, but hopefully the camouflage comes out half decent.

Just had a 2 hour game using Vassal with my British friend of Grokamorka. It ended when they T-Boned my Wartrukk so hard it immediadtly stopped functioning, and my Boyz all disembarked and charged their vehicles, all miraculously passing four 2 Initivie rolls. Manged to beat the tar out of them aboard their own two vehicles and watched them fail their first morale check of the game because throwing guys off of trucks tends to result in at least downing people, so they were below the scenario's 50% threashold.

Post results saw 1 of their guys die while most gained levels (including a big bonus for BEIN DA LOUDEST in the pregame rolls by revving their engines and yelling better than my Boyz could), while most of my guys got levels. I'm saving up my Teef for a second vehicle, probably a Bike or Wartrakk, as the only reason I won was "Orky Honur" in that scenario meant you could only shoot once the vehicle a model was in ramms something, so their massive fuck you cannon was silent most match.

But still, Gorkamorka is the single best skirmish game spinoff in all of Warhammer, fantasy or 40k. (I dont consider Blood Bowl to be a Skirmish Game).

Is that the Force Commander / Aramus? If so, does this confirm the endings where he joins with Angelos?
