I just finished printing that Custodes kill team for a friend.

I wanted to take a look at the rules for the new edition, see how things have changed since I was playing ect. But the prices of the books are kinda extortionate.
I used to get pdfs for a Russian site but I can’t find it anymore does anyone know a site that’s still hosting them?

The Russian sites are the only consistent sources. Using yandex.ru and google translate helps a lot. Otherwise, the telegram channels where people trade stl files is a good source. Most people are willing to trade codex pdfs.

Pretty sure you can find the 9th edition rule book by just typing that into google quickly.

I guess the battle nuns, sisters of silence, inquisitors, commissars, and assassins just aren't good enough for Muh Representayshun.

I'm pretty sure GW explicitly said that the Astartes don't recruit women, and cited biological factors related to not being able to survive the medical transformation into a space marine. They could have been more honest and made a historical comparison to women in the modern day marines and just said "because women have proven they can't hack it."

Ironically, 40k is the most inclusive fantasy setting I've ever seen. It's just not inclusive in the way they want where positions of nobility and power are overpopulated with women while the dregs of society are kept majority male. Everyone across the entire spectrum is openly guilty of -ism and -phobia because it's the only clear path to survival. Women are some of the biggest badasses in the universe by almost completely taking over the role of "paladins" for the imperium. It will never be enough though, as the most prestigious positions in the universe according to marketing are space marines and women aren't allowed to be space marines. You could eliminate the entire ecclesiarchy from the lore, effectively erasing 90% of notable women from the universe, and most of the people bitching wouldn't notice as long as SM continued to be gender exclusive. They're retards, and their retardation can't be satiated.

I'm honestly a little surprised they don't catch more heat from the rainbow community. Anything involved with post-modernist sexuality is relegated to Slaanesh worship, and Slaanesh is one of the most destructive forces in the known universe. The LGBT+ community is regularly portrayed as Hellraiser inspired sexual sadists and the irony isn't lost on me.

More interested in the codecies, you can kinda guess at the core rolls from them

Or each type of Eldar, Necrons (all of the Necrontyr sacrificed their bodies & soul in the Biotransference in the War of Heaven, women included), the Tau, Chaos cultists, Slannesh daemons, Imperial Knights, Chaos Knights, Genestealer cultists, Tech Priests, or fucking Guardsmen.

What a fucking retard. They might be the most popular army overall, but in lore they are a fucking rare sight. Hell, when you take out the chapter/legion supplements for the game, out of twenty different armies you play, Space Marines are one of the five armies who don't have women in it, the others being Orks, 'nids, Votann (not getting into the women dwarves argument), and Grey Knights. (yes, GK are considered a codex and not a supplement. I'm surprised too).

Perhaps GW being possessive of their IP is a blessing in disguise. Star Wars went full-on Current Year goyslop when George Lucas was overthrown.

Alas, we all know the EssJayDubs aren't even interested in the having the pleasure of Consooming the Product. They just want to dictate what the Product is.

And as I said upthread, the universe of 40k is cutthroat, malicious, and politically incorrect. It's no place for bleeding-heart pussies. They don't want 40k, they want Steven Universe.

I think GW has been slowly changing slaanesh from a sexual degenerate daemon recently but I don't know the old editions enough to know if that whole idea was mainly just shitpots poking fun at people who play slaanesh deamons and EC.
The newest daemon codex gave an example of a world falling to each of the four and iirc the slaanesh one didn't fall because of some murder fuck orgy but the desire to be the perfect imperial world and to emulate the space marine chapter (think it was the smurfs) that saved them.
