New trailer confirming 3 player co-op campaign for Space Marine 2.

3-man co-op is interesting and having Tyranids as an enemy is way better than Orks. The music on the trailer is something else and I hope it's in the final product, especially the part at 1:03. Vermintide 2's PvP was most likely canned, but the trailer music is one I really wanted to hear as a full track.

In the first game you only had 2 other NPC companions for most of the game, I'm guessing its because of that
I know, but they still had the hordes mode for a multiplayer experience that was far more difficult than the story. I only ever made it to the final wave once and we got our shit pushed it as if we were facing against the Emperor's Children or the Flawless Host.

Well, the Leviathan launch is an utter shitshow. Retailers on Facebook and Twitter/Discord are reporting GW is cutting their preorders by 66% to 75% despite telling them that they could easily order 50 or 100% more than they already had ordered without issue. Basically the same thing as Indomitus, wonder if they'll go PoD again.

For such a greedy money sucking machine as GW strives to be, they are remarkably inept at selling their primary product.

Getting reports that there are scalpers posting at a 100-200% markup in UK, but in the US ebay looks smooth sailing. No major markups.

One of the two FLGS in my area's orders got cut by 60%, the other only ordered a handful and had no issues.

I have no idea how these ebay sellers are getting 100-350+ to sell. Is GW prioritizing wholesalers?

Its against their interests to have a lot of these boxes floating around. Happens every edition since 7th from what I kind remember.

Seems plenty on the GW webstore, just sat through a 3 minute queue to see the experience. Almost clicked buy before my pile of shame shuddered into life and unleashed a bestial 'kreeeeee-onk'

Just had a quick look at Ebay UK. Seeing plenty of them at ~200 quid, which is a rip off, but a far cry from even a 100% mark up. Also it's wild to see how expensive shit has gotten. I haven't really played, or even bought much, since primaris came out because they're gay as fuck, and seeing a 150 quid starter box of fucking pushfit minis is kinda wild considering my return to 40k was the Assault on Black Reach box which was half that price.

Custodes somehow get the only jetbike in the game not to give +1 toughness (and increased movement, hah) to it's unit. Blade Champion, to quote reddit, "found some pants to fix his save." Remember you can have 3 of them in your army, so that's 3 Guardian Squads (or I guess Sisters of Silence) he can lead.

It's interesting seeing an actual difference in the Wardens and Guard now. Also, holy shit, check out that special attack the jetbikes can do.

I can just feel Cavill ejaculate reading Quicksilver Execution. I am pretty happy custodians are getting more love though. One of the aesthetically pleasing human factions.

Managed to get my box but I saw that the other stockists sold out very fast, I genuinely hope whoever wants it gets it though because it's a pretty amazing set with stunning models. Little miffed about leagues starting the following week but mine start the Sunday after allowing some room to paint and read the new rulebook. My pile of shame is massive though I have a grey knight, a tau army and a blood angel army to paint... I am looking forward to painting some nids though their shape is great for painting and the variations you can do is insane. There are some amazing paint jobs and guides coming, it feels like there has been a huge resurgence in the painting scene and that is great because Warhammer has an amazing community and its just great to see a hobby that was marred for years get some love.

When Cavill makes his pitches to GW:
-Added clause: Buff custodes!!!!!

(I am making a joke)

I'm just happy that the sisters armored units are looking really strong. Some of their resurrection capabilities almost look broken. It makes me really worries that necrons are going to suck tomorrow because the sneak peek was really underwhelming compared to other factions. The only communities I'm hearing complain a lot are necrons and death guard players.

Edit- 24 hours has passed and index necrons is out. I take back what I said. Necrons have had a lot of playstyle changes and look like they will be pretty strong. I was wrong.

GW has to be one of the most incompetent companies ever. I don't understand how they have survived this long when they miss such obvious opportunities in markets.

2017 or 18 (whenever mortal empires released for TWWH:2)
Me and my friends played the game everyday. We get immersed in to the fantasy universe and decide to get in to warhammer fantasy cause the game is just that fucking good. Starts listening to lorevideos and get generally hyped.
After a particularly epic campaign on legendary (Iron-man mode) where my dwarfs conquered the realm after 300 turns. I decide go down to my local gamesworkshop store to get Thorgrim cause he's a fucking badass.

Go around in the store, space marines but I don't recognize anything but some small random dwarf units like warriors and ironbreakers. Get annoyed and ask the clerk, after trying to sell me on totally not spacemarines for 20 minutes. He says they killed off the old world, the dwarf and their holds are dead and now you can only play these fucking steampunk tumblr dwarfs or dnd monks but red. But they do have Grombrindal model that they started selling as a promo for TW:WH1.
Ok that's not what I wanted but ill take it. It's literately just a slayer in a plastic bag, he looks nothing like the game:

So I google it, cause no kidding none of the people doing youtube videos talked about AOS but they killed everything to sell spacemarines in fantasty form! Belegar? Got fucked by skaven, Thorgrim? Got fucked by skaven, Grombrindal? Started realsing friendship is magick and fucked off to Valhalla. I guess it must have gone over as such a wetfart in the comunity that most people just ignored its existans.

Like seriously how hard could it be to have a limited run while these games are the big thing? Like they did with the Horus herasy. I could understand if they didn't want to take a risk with just one game but now we have almost 10 years of smash hits with fantasy video games and GW has done fuck all with it.

People werent buying fantasy and the video games came out as it was dying/dead. Fantasy in its 8th edition form was a hard game to just pick up even compared to 40k at the time. Its easier for people to put their money where their mouth is for 20 dollar dlcs for a total war game then it is for a $1000 for a real full fledged fantasy 8th edition army. Age of Sigmar also does really well. Does that mean GW killed off the game with grace and skill? No. But at the end of the day for the position they were in it was probably the correct decision. They are bringing back the old world, maybe they through you a bone my dwarven friend.

I am fully aware that WHF was in a bad place.

But they could have nuked the rules and kept the lore. I heard AoS is good for rules.
