I personally prefer the stance that the Imperium aren't "good guys", though I also say that as someone who finds the Space Marines to be very boring compared to virtually all their adversaries (and the Imp Guard). Has nothing to do with political metaphors for me, I just think outright designating protagonists makes for very dull storytelling in a setting about many different races.
Funny sidenote though: I think I preferred it when they followed the Emperor more religiously than they refuse to do now, though that may have to do with 2nd/3rd Ed nostalgia.

Between those three nations, Germany should've been forced into a long war, but the Germans got support from the Soviets, who agreed to share Poland with them and helped them conquer Poland. That then gave the Germans free reign to crush the French and the British, knowing that the Soviets won't attack them from the east thanks to a nonaggression pact they had.

LOL that's only on surface. In reality, Stalin persecuted peasant property owners, who were called Kulaks, and tried to eradicate them as a class. Can't have any independent people not needing the state to feed them.
That's because by that point, Hitler had re-armed and built up a large army, and they let him re-arm because the Soviets were a bigger threat, and so, they thought Hitler would be an effective barrier against the Soviets. You might as well be talking about a different series. With the way GW markets them, the Space Marines might as well be the Jedi of the 40K setting, and Rowboat is their Luke Skywalker.
Which makes it even more confusing when they do all this Space Marine merchandising, then turn around and say something along the lines of there being no good guys in 40K, and that this is all a satire, even though they just marketed the Ultrasmurfs and their buddies as defenders of mankind against evil, yucky aliens and demons. At this point, the satire is fucking dead. Which I suppose suits most 40K fans just fine; they never really cared about the Leftist satire stuff; they just wanted cool-looking Space Marines killing shit.

You do realize I asked for 3rd party stores that sell Warhammer stuff, who usually sell it at a much cheaper price than the company itself. Also, if you love a faggot like Reagan or the Right, you do deserve to get mocked, kinda how you deserved to be mocked for loving whatever lefty mofo. The only 40K minis they don't profit off from are third-party ones that they don't sell in the first place, like say, if some dweeb created a custom mini of the Emperor of Mankind.
