Do we have a Warhammer Fantasy/ToW thread? If not, I'm going to start posting my Bretonnian Army progress in here in the near future, and there's nothing you can do about it.

AoS is for fucking Niggers.

Also, fascism usually gets backed up by capitalists, who last I checked are right-wingers usually.
LOL more leftist BS. The capitalists of the 1930s only backed the fascists because they were scared of the Commies. If it wasn't for the USSR, the capi~
Can you two faggots NOT shitting this thread up with political sperging and brainrot you both posess?
It's a HOBBY THREAD. About tyranical "empire" of humankind being as retarded as you usually expect them to be and even omnipotent wannabe-jesus that calls himself "The Emperor" couln't help people to stop being utterly retarded. So cease your faggotry and retreat into autistic thunderdome where two of you belong. Thanks.

Not to mention the fact that Warhammer IS kind of political. I mean, aside from GW making statements like ''Warhammer doesn't support hate'', it was basically made as a left-wing protest against what some people thought was right-wing over-reach. If you met the OG 40K writers and told them to not put politics into the work, they'd laugh in your face and probably make a 40K character to lampoon your ass.

I dunno if it's burnout with the hobby, but none of the new books really do it for me. I don't get the larger than life characters like Uriel Ventris or Ragnar Blackmane, also a lot of the mystery of the setting just isn't there.

The original 4 Ragnar books do a great deal to show how he became larger than life.

It's basically just capeshit in space, nowadays. Darkseid wouldn't look too out of place if he showed his face in modern 40K as a new Chaos God.

The Thousand Sons had a cunning plan to use a sacred spear once wielded by Russ himself as a psychic focus to bring Magnus from the Warp into realspace... a relic the Wolves would gladly throw themselves at in droves to reclaim. What they didn't expect was that some rookie Blood Claw who managed to infiltrate their ritual would grab the only thing nearby that had a chance of harming a still-manifesting Magnus and chucking at him while he's still inside the Warp. Or that the Wolves would be so pragmatic about his deed they'd just exile him for a few years to Terra to let tempers cool down instead of instantly executing him like many Chapters might.

"SACRED RELIC!"
"HE STABBED MAGNUS IN THE EYE WITH IT!"
"SACRED RELIC!"
"MAGNUS HAD IT COMING!"
"SACRED RELIC!"
"YOU THINK RUSS WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THE SAME?"
"HE'S NOT RUSS, NOW FITE ME FAGGOT!"

And then of course its revealed later on by guys from the 13th Company that Russ hated that fucking spear and would constantly try to throw it at the planet's nearest moon whenever he got drunk after victory parties and after he finally sobered up like a week later he and the rest of the Space Wolves would have to go find it, presumably with hangovers pounding away at their skulls from too much mjod. Ah, just Space Wolf things.

Of course, they only ran into the 13th Company because the Space Wolves just decided to up and crash yet another epic ritual, this one a far more powerful one that would Wulfen the entire Chapter, and they did it by jumping a ship into the Warp without its Gellar field activated, gambling that with how heavily the Warp was bleeding over into realspace enough of realspace was bleeding into the Warp they'd not get instantly devoured by daemons.

The Thousand Sons can come up with no end of plans to trap the Space Wolves, yet they never came up with a solution to the Wolves just deciding to brute force right through their schemes until after Abaddon did his thing at Cadia. Turns out it wasn't exactly hard to get the Dark Angels to do so much of his dirty work for him...

Maybe its because I just finish Prospero Burns but the Wolves kinda seem like the least space marine feeling space marines that remained loyal. Although that might be because Prospero Burns is honestly the strangest HH book I've read so far (still doesn't change my opinion that Wyrdmake was an asshole and Ahriman is the only thousand son who almost did nothing wrong).
Also of fucking course Tzeench had a hand in stirring up the hatred between the two legions with that whole spy nonsense, he screwed over magnus in almost every other occasion, why not one more.

In its early years, it was hard left political, but I don't really see the politics, except for its official Reddit pages full of coping and seething

Sorry if it was posted earlier itt, but rejoyce!
Another boycott "movement" is starting. This time for Space Marine 2 and Rouge Trader. The developer company is from Russia!
And you know what that means.

Yes sjws. Piss off GW and show them you got no money to give. Easiest way to make GW drop leftism.
They should've just dropped leftism eons ago and made the Imperium the full-on good guys in a Dark Fantasy story. That would increase their profit margins rather nicely if they threw their hats in to support their biggest fans. Worked well for Star Wars for a while when they made the Mando series, since aside from Empire toys, Mando toys are some of the most-purchased SW toys, and 40K's equivalent of both of them is the Imperium.

Nah we've already got plenty of stories about good guys Vs bad guys, awesome guys Vs more awesome guys Vs giant monsters is a more engaging genre.
