AdMech aren't technically part of the Imperium of Man and giving them Rogue Trader status opens up a whole can of worms. Not being able to be a Techpriest/Techpriestess when you can select a Forge World as your world of origin is a baffling design choice. I just want to turn all the followers you get into servitors and venerate a microwave.
Man, imagine shrinking the tits down for a mobile game, when everyone knows tits are how you get people to spend money on mobile games. Here I thought GW loved money... Clearly not since we haven't gotten Battlefleet Gothic: Botegirl Edition.Even the girl from the shitty ass mobile game got her tits nerfed apparently. Or maybe the first is fan art? I'm not sure.
That and the cogboys and coggirls just love replacing shit since being nothing but a central nervous system hooked up to machine bits is considered peak holy by the Cult Mechanicus. Cain is surprised his former lover has a mouth instead of a vox grille until she starts nomming on a ration stick out of nerves in front of him like she used to back when they first met. Naughty naughty, letting the frailties of the flesh get to her like that...Think it might have something to do with age, rejuvenat treatment can only go so far even in 40k when you get into your third or forth century (that tech priest Cain banged was mostly machine 80 years after the fact with her few remaining fleshy bits being extremely aged). Aside from that the only high ranking AdMechs that try to look human I can think of is the one chick from the mechanicum novel that made herself look like a 8 foot tall female robot and maybe a few ambassadors/envoys that try and make their augmetics more subdued to not make the fleshbags too uneasy
There's also one in Titanicus as part of the Legio that arrives from off-world and he looks almost 100% human. Naturally everyone around him is surprised as hell when he demonstrates he's actually as enhanced as a high-ranking magos. Then there's a short description of one of them and the sort of mods they use:
Balancewhy the actual fuck can mephiston not attach to bladeguard vets but can attach to sternguard?
Actually, @HTTP Error 404 is correct, it is balance. Mephiston has a psychic ability called The Quickening, which allows his unit to fight first. That is insanely powerful given the durability of the Bladeguard.why the actual fuck can mephiston not attach to bladeguard vets but can attach to sternguard?
Damn shame considering what a blender Mephiston has always been.Actually, @HTTP Error 404 is correct, it is balance. Mephiston has a psychic ability called The Quickening, which allows his unit to fight first. That is insanely powerful given the durability of the Bladeguard.
Also, the regular Librarian isn't able to lead Bladeguard or Vanguard, so it follows that the Chief Librarian wouldn't be able to lead them as well.
I couldn’t find a copy of the codex in any of my local stores and my usual website is out of stock. I just want to spend money for a physical copy but the world has other ideas for me right now.I hate the way GW organizes their public information. I was trying to figure out the release date for the Necron codex and was unable to do so, even on their pre-order page. I also noticed that they do free shipping on orders over $65, and the codices are going to be $60. Classy.
I just pulled up the telegram group for Necron 3D printing and one of the influencers that got an early copy made a pdf and leaked it.
Squatted is overstating it, I think. Votann are just going through the same cycle that every non-Space Marine faction does: codex drops, they get a lot of attention (even more so in this case because they're the Squats reborn), and then they inevitably get sidelined for the next big release. They also have yet to be the main focus of a campaign book series or the poster boys for an edition like the Tyranids are currently benefiting from, and it didn't help that they were initially so overpowered that GW wound up kneecapping them before they'd even properly released, so they didn't get a chance to dominate the meta and piss everyone off.Dumb question but have the squats been squated again?
It feels like when the Votann first came out everyone couldn't stop talking about them, and even more so when people realized how broken they where on the table, but nowadays the you can get out of people are "oh yeah their a thing". Kinda reminds me of the whole Ynnari situation where their introduced, come with major lore implication, made really good in the game, then shuffled off to the sideline and are never given any spotlight again.
Wahapedia and Battlescribe both had the codex up before GW preorders shipped.I couldn’t find a copy of the codex in any of my local stores and my usual website is out of stock. I just want to spend money for a physical copy but the world has other ideas for me right now.
Squats basically had history repeat itself with them just not gellying with the rest of the factions (both xenos and imperium) and just being ignored. Their norsen shtick is done by the Space Wolves, their much better technology shtick is done by the admech, and having millenia old grudges is just the imperium proper. They basically do nothing new and exists for a literal meme.Dumb question but have the squats been squated again?

With the Ynnari, the issue Gav Thorpe is a hack writer who single handedly killed the faction lore through his bad writing.
The Ynarri was supposed to be a mixed Eldar faction with the sole goal of killing Slannesh once and for all, with the question of what happens later or who will remain alive after it being something nobody elaborated on, which is why it's not the entirety of the faction because some craftworld/Vect not being sure that the new god of the dead won't just kill the rest of the Eldar.Disclaimer: I'm a grog and everything after Age of Sigmar/Primaris does not exist for me, but I'm sorta interested in what the fuck exactly happened with the Ynnari: did they seriously try to blend Eldar/Dark Eldar and then simply forgot about the faction?
What the hell even happened?

They had Yvraine have some retarded resurrection power that completely breaks the plot. To prevent the story from moving too fast, GW had them seeking the7 Dragon Ballssuper swords for... something. Then they gave Thorpe the keys to the car to write the books, what followed is 3 books where nothing fucking happened and there were some insane retcons, like some millions years ago there was a Necron and Eldar alliance to kill a previous Slannesh... Nobody liked the books, nobody bought the books and GW killed the Ynnari plot line.
Abnett is generally considered the best writer Black Library have. Are you implying there's someone better or that the whole stable is shit?Did I mention yet that Abnett is an overvalued retard hack of a writer who makes soyboys soy into their pants?
