Poorhammer just released a podcast of 5 meme armies, and the 5th is A reasonable sounding AdMech army that appears to be Duck Hunt based... but really the meme is that it costs $1 per point. $2000 USD for a 2000 point army.

Admech is so, so fucked and it's not even funny anymore. Same with Genestealer Cults, they're just as fucked once the current stupid good start collecting box cycles out.

The one that pissed me off is the one on Cults3D that was doing actually pretty good Custodes models. Female name, already banned once cause she did a 1:1 close replica of some recent Primaris shit. PunkGirl Maria or whatever.

Almost definitely a tranny cause she's now pumping out Female Space Marine STLs to "own the chuds" as pretty much the only thing she does.

Yeah about that. For a bit you could still hit up his discord, and surprise surprise, the ones that weren't complete fakes were cropped to shit with the context removed. Like "real fascism has never been tried before" was him mocking Commies saying that communism has never been tried before.

500 is kinda low. also depends if it's unzipped or not, since you can compress most STLs by 60-70%. also fuck everyone who uploads uncompressed STLs, besides the wasted time and bandwidth, even basic bitch zip would at least add error correction detection (I brainfarted).

The most popular 3rd party item for them is anime heads. I personally appreciate the female penitent engines and arcoflagelants. I also appreciate repentia that are actually nude instead of wearing 1920's swimsuits.

that's another thing woketards don't get, for models that size you need exaggerated features to really make a difference. so either female space marines need to wear boobplate, or you need an overly female face (hence the anime style). just putting normal sororitas heads on a marine would rather make them look like prince valiant than "female".

You can thank 3d printing for Warhammer+ and any movie that may come out in the future. GW only cares about getting shekels, so now that any quarter-wit with an Internet connection and some patience can cut out the middleman James Workshops' model is going the way of the buggy whip. If Henry Cavil is really going to do a 40k movie, you can thank people printing shit like its going out of style and GW panicking and trying to make a shift into the intellectual property business (nickel and diming various license holders) instead of the "model sales" business.

GW, get that money you souless fucks. I hope they charge $5k for "finecast" versions of guilimans left nut sack, the """community""" would still buy it.

I'd say it's worse than that, because the moment you start looking beyond GW models to print, you suddenly get drowned in literal thousands of top grade models that more often than not shit all over GW, or at least look more what you're looking for without having to mess around with green stuff etc.
so it's not only GW losing money by people printing GW stuff, they lose money because people spend that money elsewhere. and alongside it comes the chance they'll drop GW completely and simply play something else.

once you get out of the consoomer cuckshed there aren't many arguments to go back.

Poorhammer is pretty fun but the Grey Knights co-host sucks. He does nothing except make non-points like he just learned how to talk when asked to speak and as a new guy to the hobby he doesn't have anything to contribute from experience.

Im a fan of Mordian Glory, he’s kinda a sperg and most damning of all, British. But if you’re a Guard main like me he has lot of good tactic videos and entertaining tournament after action reports

He’s pretty awesome for consistent guard content, plus he actually plays the game fairly often and his battle reports are actually enjoyable to me, which is kind of a first. Love his oldhammer guard too. He should buy a better mic though.

They don't care about representation in any faction except space marines. Space marines are the ones on the box that people who don't play the game still recognize. Kind of like how women will bitch that only 40% of plastic surgeons are women but don't give a shit that 99% of sewer workers are men.

For gameplay channels, I like Heretic Dave 40k. He's a grognard who just plays with his pals in his basement. Vids are long since all he pretty much cuts out is the movement phase, but it's got the simple charm of friends having fun. Play On Tabletop is good as they edit their videos enough to be usually under an hour even with juxtaposed commentary.

I've recently come across of Miniature Game Montage that has a lot of Necromunda content. He usually plays with his son, but it's nice seeing a break from the usual 40k gameplay. Kinda making me think of getting in on Necromunda later this year.

Once gameplay channel I do not like is Tabletop Tactics. Something about their banter while playing comes off as being extremely fake to me. Used to watch MWG too, but they have a terrible habit of getting rules wrong in every video.

ADB tried to push for them, or at least virtue signaled about wanting to, but claims that GW higher ups told him to knock that shit off. But if he's a tranny he's not out yet. Wait till he consent accidents someone I guess.

I have a friend who loves those guys but those stupid voices they use makes me want to violently kill myself. The only main stream battle report channel I like is Play on Tabletop but only normal games, anytime they have fan interaction that affects the game it just annoys the shit out of me and I’m not sure why

So I managed to pick up a warriors of chaos regiment for a an absolute steal online. It also comes with the mutation sprue which is pretty awesome, the box is also sealed so everything will be new on sprue which is just awesome.
I’m not sure how I want to paint them up as i’m contemplating ideas for a mid hammer Armies of Chaos Project, which I hope I can get some games of 6th ed either as an Chaos Undivided force or Nurgle aligned.
My next pick ups will probably be a Chaos Spawn and some Marauders.

I really personally love a lot of the alternative 40k models myself, as I field quite a few of them myself. Only problem is that it can be iffy with events and tournaments since there are a lot of spergs who may object to 3D printed models

Think it depends on the place, like GW ones def can be iffy but from what I saw local gaming stores are fine, long as the model actually closely repressents what it's supposed to be standing in for.

They're sperate. They're a squad of blanks -- humans without souls that actually repel the warp. I don't know if they count as a Sister of Battle church, they're very different. Their big task other than helping the Custodes is running the black ships that drag psykers to Terra to either be trained and put into various orgs or eaten by the Emperor.

Personally, I painted my Warriors/Marauders as Undivided (black armor, leather capes), and then use old god-aligned metal miniatures for the Lords, Champions, and Sorcerers. I love the freaky old Chaos models, and that's a fine way to incorporate them.

Kinda, the Sisters of Silence predate the SOB by 6 or 7 millennium and iirc they where originally a guard regiment from a redacted planed before becoming the official pysker handlers after one notable incident during the great crusade.
I'm pretty sure lore wise they where/are one of the strongest non augmented human force in lore since they got to get equipment based off the same pattern as the custodes and I think I remember a small lore blurb where the will occasionally get some training from the golden boys. Although they where disbanded sometime after the heresy (maybe the assassinorim where sick of them getting dibs on half the human nulls) and reinstating them was one of the things Guilliman had to fix when he came back.
