Hello gents. I'd like to start painting Guard minis and would like some basic tips from people who actually play the game and not just run a YouTube channel.

Tips regarding painting, primarily, as I'm not very artistically inclined.

Depends on your skill as a painter, but these days you can use speed paints and the slap chop method in order to make passable minis.

you know i was on the whole libertarian sort of train with art where my issue with them attacking things like stellar blade was hypocritical and anti freedom but now that im seeing degen stuff thats less digestible just sick of all of it and im now in favor of armed guards forcing people at actual gun point with the threat of being legally and immediately executed to not be horny when doing things like a tabletop game made for young adults or video games meant for kids.

i mean with gatekeeping we had a cleaner hobby, now we have people seeing corpses and drawing howd theyd look being FUCKED and were supposed to not want them thrown in camps?

I prefer using Army Painter speed paints rather than GW. Usually cheaper and I get better results.

Just look up a video or two on the slapchop method and you'll figure it out fast.

They  might have a go with the Skaven but they'd be pretty low on the totem pole even there. Woketards are pretty much only ever useful as puppets and proxies in the grand scheme of things.
Edit: you know what, genestealer cults are their thing. That suits them perfectly.

In 40k? Genestealer cultists, assets to be discarded and devoured by a smarter and stronger enemy, I couldn’t fathom who that greater enemy is, I’d never make any claims as to who’s propping up these freaks.

But the gods of Chaos have a certain honesty to them, do well, honor your powers, bring destruction (the message of chaos resonantes through the greatest acts of destruction), be vigilant, cultivate a court of rivals and loyalists and you’ll get candy bars from your patrons(s) and eventually immortality and a permanent (unless you fuck it up) existence in the Great Game with legions of daemons at your beck and call. I’ll take that over dying for a Redditor on a golden toliet any day.

Yeah, I edited that point in to my post. It really fits the more and further you think about it. Granted, genestealer cults can actually fight to some extent but they tend to be pathetic on any real scale so it fits.

You know, I honestly forgot the Genestealers were a thing; admittedly, I'm not the most into W40K in comparison to other games, so I tend to forget things.

Taking a look, though... yeah, the Genestealers fit. Given their fondness for infiltrating everything and trying to rot the Imperium from within, I could easily see the woketards fighting for them.

There's a specific fetish called "mechabare" or such in Japan for when you take a robot girl apart and they have metal boobs underneath or something. Variations include, say, the legs being cut off.

is the God of copyright law because GW doesn't own the likeness to him because the artist who created him for some reason was able to finagle into his contract that he owns all the rights.
