The Emperor's religion was always a cult of personality that stole the crusader aesthetic and used it for something metal and badass, not cucked and pozzed like christianity. Like something most dictators used, but him being actually god powered it worked.
''Metal and badass'' usually translates into ''edgy tryhard bullshit written by a teenager who doesn't know what religion or true hardship in life really is.'' Christianity, ironically enough, is far less cucked than it. If you've met a real monk or priest who lives that life and gives up worldly pleasure for something higher, you wouldn't call it cucked or pozzed.
Kinda like how those internet funnies have a white Jesus with roided muscles and uzis.
The fact that they have that shows they're compensating for something. God has no need for muscles or uzis. He just says something, and it happens.
Yeah, W40k started out with the RAD 90s crowd.
No, it obviously started with the 80s crowd. The 90s crowd just came in a decade and a half later. But I suppose the period of 1998-2009 was Warhammer 40K at its best, and that is what you meant to say. On that, we can agree.
Imagine if the Emperor was actually a god, like say, the last of the ''good'' chaos gods while the others fell into evil or died. That should've been the direction they took.
Than came Dawn of War 1 in 2004, and W40k was suddenly a hit with many hardcore gamers. The edgy teens to be later chuds. Many an angry NIGGER was typed in pvp.
That same crowd made Halo and Call of Duty a big hit, and made Xbox a brand that could stand up to Sony and Nintendo. I wonder why game companies are so quick to abandon them. They are a profitable demographic.
GWs faggotry was at first constrained to the pozzed 30k, but bled out slowly and surely to pure "honeymoon" 40k. You also overestimate how fast the books spread. GW began shitting out novels SW EU speeds and shitty quality at that time. Most people couldn't read all as they were shat out.
I suppose, but the lorefans could read the wikis which had small snippets of data from the books, or short summaries of the books. And it's quite obvious that the lorefans and the fans of the tabletop were two different species of fans, otherwise, the Primaris would've been the death knell for 40K's profitability since it broke the lore. Instead, it boosted their stock value.
30k wasn't a core part of the lore nor the tabletop for some time. It was prequels, and had many Jar Jars.
Now I'm imagining the Daemon Primarchs as a gaggle of Darth Jar-Jars wearing the Chaos Primarchs' armor. A truly terrifying sight.
Also lol, Dawkins got the Last Church. I always thought it was supposed to be a big brain tragedy full of irony rather than the Emperor owning the priest, but I even hadn't realised how low IQ gw writers are. Truly they are Filoni's Fellows.
Shit, I'd rate them even below Filoni. Filoni at least writes for kids; that has always been his audience. GW writers try to pretend this shit is mature and for adults, yet the education level for their works is so sub-par they make college dropouts look smart. Literally, since Carl Benjamin/Sargon of Akkad and Kraut and Tea are people on the same level as them, if not higher.
