I mean SoB already kinda look like men ...
So it won't be that hard for GW to introduce trans women in the ranks of the Sisters. Maybe even have new models with codpieces........
I don't think any of the old guys are still around working for GW. And yes, while both leftists, there are a lot of differences between fedora tippers and woke worshippers. That's why one was ridiculed, the other feared. One is a looser nerd, the other is a frothing mouth fanatic who will try to lynch you with his 20 antifa buddies if he can.
You don't realize that the latter is an evolved form of the former. In fact, a lot of the former fedora-tippers from the old Skeptic days, if they didn't go alt-right and break bread with religious conservatives, they became breadtubers who now simp for the SJW cause. As for GW, again, it's a company in leftist Britain where the average person, which includes the average corpo officer and investor, are leftist. And yes, the Black Library people at least swing to the left; they've been pining for female Custodes for years. Ironically, some of the most non-leftist people in GW were the suits who did fear that introducing female Custodes and marines would piss off the fans.
Plus the Woke aren't anti-capitalists. They love big corporations, they love sucking the goyslop and consooom. They are perhaps the most capitalist people on the net, if somewhat more in the consumer side. They are the very idea that the hippies would find distatestful, the most corporate of cocksuckers.
Depends. Some love the corporations and swallow all their slop, but others pirate everything and dream of the day they'll lead a socialist revolution. In fact, there's more argument for the latter in most fandoms, since corporations most of the time lose money by going woke, showing that the woke aren't the main consumers of their slop. And of course, since these yahoos engage in piracy, they've done more damage to corporations than the hippies ever did.
There's a reason why GW doesn't really care to go after scalpers, but they go nuts when someone passes STL files that look like 40K characters, and if someone uses custom models in their official events.
GW went from edgy nerds to suits who wanted money, to now suits who want to appraise the woke and make that fabled New Modern Audiences with the MESSAGE.
Nah, they are what they've always been. Posing as leftists while mooching off the paypigs. They have as much dedication to SJW ideology as they did to the old anti-conservative ideology. Their real motive has always been to drain the money off the paypigs. As a publicly-traded company, that is their prerogative. And in that regard, they've done rather well.
I fully expect the Imperium to drop religion after Girliman tells them its all fake, and be all properly ashamed of themselves and woke. The Emperor will be reborn as a retarded nigger faggot in a wheelchair. They will be transformed into the goodest of guys, always caring about pronouns and niceties. All the grimdark will be cut down, and the old Imperium will be quickly forgotten, not to be missed.
Books have brought up that issue. Guilliman’s smart enough to realize banning religion is going to invite civil war so he’s not going to bring back the Imperial Truth. However, he has seen phenomena that demonstrate the power of faith and his beliefs have been challenged. He even started reading the Lectito Divinitatus.
That could happen. Given how it affects the Sisters, Gorillaman might even support a certain version of the Faith. But I predict it to be a version that is more Pope Francis than Pope Benedict, where he'll emphasize the love and tolerance of their god, how he valued open minds and open hearts. A civil war will brew within the church; one side has more open-minded clergy who are being guided by the living Saint Celestine who speaks of the Emperor's new progressive plan, the other is filled with clergy who are more backwards, traditional, willing to kill people for even worshiping the wrong way.
And when the two fight, the Emperor speaks, appearing in a vision along with Celestine, saying that the time for darkness is over, and the time for progress is now. Tens of thousands of Sisters sacrifice their life-energies so that the message from the Emperor could be sent, but once it is sent, it becomes permanent, and the Imperium begins changing for good.
That is, if they stick with the idea of the Imperium being salvageable.
