Well the "Russian hackers" line has been spoken on Valraks video about this and as far as I'm aware there was no public demand for cash to prevent the game being leaked and nothing else has seemingly been compromised. I can't help but think that this was an internal leak by some pissed off member/s of staff or recently fired employee who had access to a nearly complete build as some assets are missing.

I’m guessing a troon on the team got angry over something a normal person would shrug off and leaked it be he’s a heckin’ real and valid woman, damn it, and that’s what a heckin’ woman would do.

Yeah, since its only a dev build, it was bound to come denuvo-free.

Im not rly knowledgeable about the space mariens or warhammer 40k lore, but i think the game looks decent.
 
OK I am pretty hyped for it thank you for catching the videos. Well GW are famed for their "fantastic" work practises so it may have been another elusive scorned employee.
 
Do we know its not full of spyware? Apparently it was made by hohols or something.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled on the /v/ threads on the leak; it SEEMS it's malware free, but people are being fucking vague for whatever reason.
Will agree that it looks really fun to play though, when someone repackages it I am 100% diving into this shit.

Interesting thing to note, they clam that the build is a year old, however some gaming outlets claim that the build dates to February 23rd, 2024. I also seem a claim that the build is even newer (alegedly from June 20th).
 
New tournament winning list for sororitas has a bunch of people going nuts over units like the dominions and the sister novitiates. It kind of makes me hate the faction knowing how so many redditors will look at these units after saying how bad they were and now say they’re an auto included unit. I played the combat patrol sisters as dominions because they don’t have good special weapons, but I don’t want to touch novitiates because they eat shit against even cultists when it comes to any combat.
 
Novitiates dont seem that bad. Can have them infiltrate and farming miracle dice that you opponent will have to go out of their way to chew on or you can put a Palatine with them, give her reroll hit 1s and advance and charges. Turns her into a blender that shits out mortal wounds on top of her lethal hits especially with blade of ellynor or through suffering strength

Spent all day drybrushing this Ultralisk...still working on getting the right tones for everything, it is fighting me a bit. The blades will all be drybrushed with layers of whites as they have just been hit with a single layer of drybrushed wraithbone and topped with skeleton horde contrast for now.

idk why the fucking colors are looking extra washed out and drab on my phone tonight. I tried really hard to layer up a bunch of super intricate detailed contrasts in the shadow areas and underneath layers of speed painting but it's just not showing up very well on the phone, more than usual even. The skeleton horde paint on this looks almost green in this light

Anyway. the Ultralisk is painted in the classic Zerg colors of vibrant purple flesh alongside very neutral tan/orange-ish armor plates. I am considering doing some Tyranid paint scheme edge line designs on the carapace, you know the ones. idk yet. I really love this 3D print it is very cool. I also have 2 Hydralisks and 6 teeny weeny cute little Zergling minis to paint next but those models are all so delicate and small they will need to be painted traditionally rather than drybrushed...I will end up snapping pieces off if I did that.

This Ultralisk is rather large. I placed a 40K terminator in the shot for scale:

all of the bone parts like the spines on the back, face, blades, and hooves will look much more like bone when I am done.
 
The space marine 2 dev build runs oddly well for a dev build, I think this leak has done more to sell the game than harm it. There ARE story spoilers though so be careful if you dont wanna get spoiled.

Yeah, I could see them doing that, I like palatines with the sacressants for that reason. I like having them fish for lethal wounds.

How the everliving fuck do you get a sister in that dreadknight suit? Where do her legs go?
 
The problem with these fucks, they view everything as an afront to them. The leak will sell more games absolutely but imagine having security and procedures.
