The cattiness and mean spirited shit flinging get old fast and make it to where it’s not even worth posting there. Dakkadakka sucks because people there spend more time complaining about the game or trying to win pissing contests to have any kind of meaningful discussion and I refuse to go to reddit.
 
They made a single sacressant model that while looking cool, is going to be $35. GW loves doing that.

That’s kinda huge actually, I like that the Nids are losing that “immunity” to the Milky Way’s “loss conditions”

These Malstrain “Hills Have Eyes” genestealers are mutated, inbred disasters that are pets of the Enslavers

They can fall to Chaos (Honsou novel has a Tyranid space-faring bioform that they dragged into the Eye and repurposed as a Titan-hauler) and Genestealers have a trend of getting their own “mind” with goals outside the Hive Fleets

what really grinds my gears is the constant concern trolling or the people who always ask the same questions and arguments over the same BS. We are barely a close community here but having identifiers is real easy to stop easy bait and shitposting. 40k threads all over the website suck now they went from some of my favorite kind of threads to just feeling very samey and forced.

Both the 40K generals and /btg/ threads have gone that way for me. They’re no longer fun and no good content comes from them anymore. I don’t think any of those people even play because they’re always on there.
 
Started off with a black matte spray for primer and added mournfang brown and rhinox hide before dusting it with leadbelcher

Probably not going to highlight or pick out too much. Maybe lights, screens, and the servoskulls. Will probably add in some agrax earth shade or nurgle rot around some pipes for leaks with a few sprays of blood for the blood god on some wall sections for splatter.
 

GW has raised prices what, 3 times in 2 years? But that's not good enough, they're now cutting their paints with Administratum Grey to save costs on the more expensive pigments.

GW has been redoing old content and bringing it back. They brought back Natase, squats, Sensei..perpetuals and Star Child and all that autism, and another good old thing was Chaos Genestealers. Chaos Tyranids also got made with Honshou and a Great Unclean One made them as well in Ragnar's Claw.

So I wouldn't rule out Chaos bugs.

If you're still buying citadel paints you deserve whatever you get. There's so many better competitors these days you really have no excuse, unless you're a literal child and your parents gifted them to you.

So there may be hope for Malal then. LET ME DREAM GODDAMMIT!! Sons of Malice are creepy but cool, and the fan made daemons people have done up for Malal are pretty cool
 
In the year 2024 there is simply no excuse for continuing to fuel the Citadel paints scam any further. Your FLG most likely already carries better, more vibrant and cheaper alternatives and you are just holding, tugging onto that foetid security blanket that is the citadel paint system, it's time to let go.
