The game really could’ve used Terminators but with the retarded dodge-rolling combat system it’s gonna take a lot of work that I don’t see the reds having the skill for.
It's not as egregious as flipping terminators in Dawn of War 3, but all the dodge-rolling with power armor in Space Marine 2 does peeve me. I would've much rather seen short dashes like in Bloodborne.

The Neurothropes tho? They're pure hell to fight against when there are 2 or more of them at any given area. There is a defense section that you got 2 of them in the second wave and good god, on top of having to stop the horde from rushing down defending target, you have to perfectly time your dodge on their projectile attacks, otherwise you get stun locked to shit and back and it is NOT fun to be unable to control your character for a few seconds.
I just got through that part today. Same difficulty. Grenade spamming the first wave at the walls then using the convenient explosive barrel to take care of the shooters got me through the first wave. The 2nd wave was impossible until I found the krak grenades to take care of those dudes. Some of the enemies just aren't fun to deal with, mostly due to the issues with parry (Blocking and such feels very inconsistent) Doesn't help that there isn't a ton of feedback on your damage. I'm enjoying the game overall though. Maybe I'd be having a more 'fun' experience on lower difficulties but sunk cost and all that.

So what's the general opinion on "Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2"?
Is Current Year insufferably present in it?
I personally enjoyed the game, I made a really long post on the previous page sharing my thoughts on the game. However your squad consists of a nigger and they're are other nigmarines in the squad in the other campaign, which is enough for me to encourage people not to pay for it.

I got you fam.

28 hours in mostly Operations and I've hardly used parry at all. Outside of the big blue light indicator one. Learning it will probably be helpful for higher difficulties.

Correction. I remembered well . Titus can get 4 weapons. 1 pistol/sword, and 3 ranged weapons.

Combo I saw was power axe/plasma pistol, bolter, meltagun and lascannon.Which I would trade all the primaris gear to have in SM2.

Yeah the metallic blue looks great, now that metallic colors are so easy to do with contrast that's definitely worth a try.
The thousand suns do look cool and I liked the lore, it was just a tiny bit disapointing it wasnt another traitor legion with actual blood for ripping and tearing
Another thing I wish they stole from halo is being able to hold multiple grenade types, of only so I have more to spam. Melta bombs are also useless, is meant to be a mine but you are never in a position to take plan out prepared defenses so in actuality you are dropping it at an enemy s feet and hoping they don't ruin our if the blast zone before you do. And after that it takes a second to detonate it is not on a hair trigger. Even though it's a melta bomb it doesn't do enough damage to kill anything other than adds and the explosion radius is smaller than a frag grenade which is designed to kill adds and doesn't have to be dropped and then hold the button to make it explode. I really don't know what they want me to do with the melta bomb that I can't do far far better with other grenades

Oh yeah let's break the nades down
1. Frag grenade. Acts like frag grenades in every other videogame. Self explanatory. Max Carry of 3
2. Krak grenade. These are sticky grenades, I think the intended use is to throw them at big bads. The game is very generous in how close you have to get your throw to the big bad for it to stick. Does okay damage on veteran. 2 stickies on a ts is almost enough to get them to staggered state. And you can only carry two.
3. Shock grenades. Explodes on contract and creates a very large field of electricity that doesn't hurt you but stunlocks enemies. Good for holding a group of big bads while you clear up a different mess.
4. Melta bombs. You only carry 1 and it sucks
Yeah the melta bomb is powerful but it has a shockingly small blast radius and the grenades in general have this problem where it really feels like you cant carry enough of them. Lot of times I overlook them so much I only find grenades after I clear out a room.

it still isn't explained. Maybe there will be a story dlc that explains it but the main campaign never explains the connection, which still exists. Titus suspects that is been brought back somehow because he nearly collapses in the presence of a strange box and that's as far as they go with it.
Im not sure if this was intentional but it seemed like his immunity was somewhat weakened by the surgery to turn him into a primaris marine.
Considering it’s all cosmetic this is a bizarre take. One of the least monetized shooters in recent years
Absolutely. They are very generous with class custom parts and currency if you consistently win games. I think he was confused and assumed the currency wasn't earned in game. Ive warmed up quite a bit to the pvp actually. there is legit balance and thought process behind it all. Not too many maps though sadly.

Heck no. This is the most manly bro badassary ive seen in current year. There's an old jewish looking chick who leads the imperal guard but she does her job. There's no bullshit in this.

I think my main problem is a decent chunk of the guns on vet difficulty feel kinda weak against the rubic marines and im having issues with the multiplayer. The lobbies work and im getting games but I have to exit out and get back in every so often because the loading screen gets stuck. They need to add customization for the traitors and more maps to play around in but otherwise the pvp has surprisingly grown on me. It very much is a throwback to the old days.

They say they are going to add new operations but im wondering if that somehow includes a story mission to go along with it. Could be interesting.

I mean they are called spaceMARINES, of course they would have a disproportionate number of brothas from da hood enlisting; they’re too rowdy for the imperial guard

That's a hefty amount of good information.

As long as there's no Current Year™ shenanigans, I'm good. I will pirate it firsthand, but depending on its quality, I may purchase it. Emperor knows we need more quality-40k-video games.

Its an extremely subtle moment but I liked how they made the black dude one of the very first primus marines that actually dates back to the heresy. Literally one quick line that doesn't mean anything if your not paying attention or know any better but that was cool.

Where my FUCKING Power Fist???? Goddamn why is it so hard for a WH40k game to have a power fist.

Don't spoil me if titus gets a power fist it's just annoying as hell playing with a plasma gun and combat knife on hard. I know online gets one, I'm not playing online.

No spoiler but it is available in multiplayer for sure

Deathwing had them, but you'd be wishing that you had the assault cannon.
Yeah, to quote from the Space Hulk 2 flash anim, Terminator armor is about as effective as wrapping your dick in a napkin to fuck a chainsword if genestealers get to rending claw range.

All darkies should be in the Salamanders not in the Smurfs.

Still as far as woke shit goes the addition of 2 cotton pickers to your squad isn't that much.
I think calling it woke is a stretch, it doesn't contradict the lore and both of them act like any other Space Marine, they're not pushing any agendas.

Also the Salamanders aren't a nigger legion, their skin is black but not in the basketball sense of the word, its the color of literal coal and is a mutation caused by Nocturne's radiation which also gives them red eyes.

Been playing SM2 since it was in early access and to be honest half of the "complaints" I see on here and steam are misinformed and wrong the monetization is fine far better than any other games I've played its pretty much like deep rock galactic in that most cosmetics and items are unlocked with credits only earned by playing the game or by playing matches and gaining XP. The paid "DLC" is purely optional and is only cosmetics as the dev has stated that any paid content they make will be optional cosmetics just look at the roadmap they posted. Game and lore wise they hit it out the park yeah story is kinda mid but what do you expect from the most vanilla chapter? and for the retards complaining about Chairon and Gadriel you guys do know in lore the Ultramarines take tithes of aspirants from other planets and that Rowboat Girlymans gene seed is very moldable so it doesn't change the marines that are implanted with it unlike Vulkan's or Leaman Russ's gene seed. Gameplay wise game is solid but you have to learn and take it slow most people that I know that complained about it tried to rush each mission and not bother with their class play styles and wonder why they got clapped, it's why I recommend people to play the first couple of missions in the campaign and play as the tactical marine for the first couple of PVE missions or in the PVP since it's a jack of all trades class not being great but no slouch in range and melee. TLDR: Reddit Tranny Jannies and Niggers that can't read heard about optional epic and 3rd party linking and sperged out over a game that's actually good and fun.
