See this is how Terra should be described. As a heavily fortified hive world that allows few in. It would be more grimdark or just better story wise if closest the religious pilgrims could get to terra was Pluto. Just imagine your a religious pilgrim whose spent how much time and money getting to what equates to their holiest site and being told the closest you can come is Pluto.

The FLGS when I was in high school once told me that to replace the Hive Tyrant I was buying, he'd have to buy $250 worth of random GW shit, because GW wouldn't just send him a Hive Tyrant. And that was decades ago, $250 wasn't a small order.
Mine is a CANDY STORE that does hobbyshit on the side and GW made them carry stuff like the Kroot army box and a whole kill team battlefield.
I can't think of a time when Kroot have been anything other than a fucking joke. They're mediocre in melee, terrible at shooting, have no armor... I'm sure there's a few other downsides I'm missing.
It really is a shame that GW went all in on fucking kroot of all things for Tau (I mean, considering how little Xenos factions get, 3 battle line units is basically all-in). They should stick to what theyve been doing: new, unique Kill Teams to round out armies and offer customization. Tau's lack of different species being a prime example of an easy include. KT is better than standard 40k anyway.
