In any case I hope you all are holding strong against temptation this Christmas

>starts off talking about femstodes, the sargon of akkad, etc stuff
>one store is not selling GW models, but still selling paint
>the other cant get their shipments on time
You fucking feral baboons are the reason the actual criticisms for the direction GW is taking are treated like jokes. Its got the same airs as the feds lumping flat earthers in with the people that called out MK Ultra, its so egregiously obvious.

Neck rope and fuck off, tourist.
And even the store that couldn't get their shipments on time(RIW hobbies), we don't know the entire story regarding what was going on, how they had been ordering in the past, etc. but we do know they're mostly a TCG focused and general hobby shop(rc cars, model rockets, etc.) anyway based on everything publicly available about them.
Also, what a weirdly high number of 1 star reviews over the past couple of years. 38 reviews and 1/3 of them are 1 star. This sounds like some grumpy old fuck running a shop, not bothering to make sure their staff is actually doing their jobs, and not wanting to deal with GW game players in general(even for card sales they get 1 star reviews though).

Even Paradise Games, can't find anything about them or where they are, shows a picture that really only shows the retail rack just about the most basic one that you'll see up a comic book store or whatever that only has some starter kits on it. Clearly that store was not heavily invested in selling GW product. This is the kind of retail shelf presence you see in a store actually moving a lot of GW product

The stores in question likely go through fuck all for inventory, and this is going to have effectively ZERO impact on GW even in the short term, as if they did have a customer base, those customers will just go elsewhere(and probably already had to). That's not to say GW doesn't have shitty business practices, they absolutely do. But one of these shops being brought up... that happened in fucking August.
Like they point out(regarding the RIW store) we don't know what was actually going on behind the scenes, it's entirely possible that they were a pain in the ass retailer to even deal with that moved little product and never got priority for anything. But there's no reason to use this as some dumb shit to try and scream about GW over.

Who the hell is this tattooed idiot supposed to be? And what does he have to do with the obvious grifter shit you posted?
It is so clear now.
GW think they are Ferrari.
Absolutely. It's also why they enforce MAP(minimum advertised price) for retailers in North America. With all of the whining online about prices, the fact of the matter is that anyone who can afford this shit, or has the time to be painting and then playing with plastic army men, is engaging in a luxury. It's also the same reason they can operate brick and mortar stores where you can't really play(not that they're big enough to actually host more than 2 games at a time anyway), pretend that nothing exists outside of their own product lines(even for shit like paint brushes, glue, palettes, and so on), seemingly operate them at a loss and treat them purely as product show-rooms. They even sell all the same lifestyle type merch(clothes, candles, etc.) bullshit that Ferrari and other brands do.

Terra did have an underhive, but it mostly still worked.

If we consider that it is an administrative center, most of the people on Earth would be administratum pen pushers and other assorted scribes.

So not rich but not the lowest of the low either.

the fact the custodes are offhandedly noted to keep shit worse than the Ctan and possibly even the Chaos gods locked up under the Imperial palace
The Navigators have these in their estates, too. Since they have to be constantly in contact with the Warp, their manors are like heavily fortified Epstein Islands where horrid shit goes down and cursed artifacts are on display.

The Imperium mostly turns a blind eye to what goes down inside because they need them.

There’s also the horde of pilgrims who will literally die waiting in queue to see Terra

I can't think of a time when Kroot have been anything other than a fucking joke. They're mediocre in melee, terrible at shooting, have no armor... I'm sure there's a few other downsides I'm missing.
They aren't compatible with the rest of your army. T'au, more often than not, explicitly exclude Kroot/Vespid from Army rules, abilities, and stratagems. The only way T'au are hitting on 3s is if another unit guides them. Guess who can't spot targets? Kroot. Guess who can't benefit from spotters? Kroot. If they were mid units on their own that might not be so bad. But T'au relies on units that can coordinate with each other, at least with For the Greater Good, and Kroot are the only ones (aside from Ethereals strangely) who do not have any access to the army rule. The only way is the brand new detachment that lets you buy an enhancement to allow one unit to use the army rule.

I’m actually still debating buying the box, selling the parts I don’t want and turning the Kroot into cultists, I kinda wanna do actual peacocks to go with the peacock legion.

It’s partially a pity thing, a hobby shop in my neck of the woods is a godsend and I know a guy who would pay twenty bucks for the Kroot pups alone.

Funny you should say that, the new detachment that came out this week is intended to address that exact problem.

Back in I think 7th you could give them sniper rounds for like 1pt per model which made them AP2 on a 6 to wound, stick them in a forest and because of stealth or shrouded they would have a 4+ cover save.

So you could get a cheap, hard to kill unit that would occasionally kill terminators or wound characters that people wouldn't want to prioritise over bigger threats.

Yeah, but they were still just 24" unlike everyone else's sniper rifles that were 36", on top of Kroot being BS3 unlike everyone else's snipers (Scouts, Ratlings) that were BS4. And because their Stealth only applied in Forests, while loreful, fucked them when the battle took place literally anywhere else since they only had a 6+ armor save otherwise.

If Stealth applied more generally, and their Kroot Rifles were Assault instead of Rapid Fire so they could be used more easily as cheap melee forces, then they'd be an excellent choice.

Funnily enough I was part of the Firestorm over Kaurava mod team for a little while and even before 5e dropped we decided to boost Kroot and Vespid armor saves up to what they'd be in 5e since they were completely fucking useless otherwise with Kroot losing so horribly to Guardsmen at range they struggled to make it to melee due to their lack of an armor save, and same deal with trying to close the gap with 5+ Vespid against their intended targets of MEQ's.

I just have a kill team of them from the Into the Dark box. I keep saying I'll get around to getting them put together because them being a guerilla war fighting group sounds cool and all they are is just a shade of death guard green with some bits. But I never have any motivation to get around to them. Just sitting on sprues.

The fucking tourist grifting article is by Jon del Arroz, is from Comicsgate Community and often in posts in the Kiwi thread himself, though not as much before his wife said he abused her or something like that, it's in there.
Useless cunt has been making the Cavil is leaving Amazon YT videos or woke GW but also got takedown or cease and desist from GW of a "homage" tribute comic that basically had space marines but only difference in design was one eagle head instead of two for imperial icons.
