Presenting Brother Jom of the Kiwis Obscurum.

Born on the Agri-World Faceta Bos Villam IV, the Chapter's recruiting world, he passed the recruitment trials, culminating in voxbooking an Agent of the Inquisition and was so permitted to join, after which he slowly worked his way up through the ranks through cunning and indomitable stubbornness.

A fairly quick and dirty job for now, on the first Marine I've ever painted. I stayed fairly close to your Impcat mockup, just to try out the scheme; I think it worked out decently enough that it might be worth expanding to the rest of a Kill Team at some point.
Dude that’s fucking awesome!

This is fantastic! Please consider adding the mati ham ham in somewhere if you paint more. There will be more right? Sorry I’m a filthy community notes flyby - not played 40k for yeeeeeears.

Maybe a Dark Angels successor chapter that had the Dark Angel's penchant for keeping secrets turned on its head. They now dedicate themselves to finding out and revealing secrets.

Though that sounds more like Alpha Legion. Maybe a loyal Alpha Legion successor chapter would make more sense. Of course their founding would have to be shrouded in mystery in that case.

The Chapter Master Goshuha lux Lunae does a broadcast once every seven Terra standard days, going over new secrets revealed by the chapter and giving updates on ongoing campaigns. The Chapter Master will even read messages sent via specially trained Astropaths, communicated via the lesser known Autism Currents of the Immaterium.

His warriors, except those under extreme duress, listen to the broadcast while consuming a food called "Pitta". It is a flatbread topped with an unknown red sauce, grox cheese, and whatever local meats and vegetables are available. The red sauce is closely guarded as supplies are extremely limited outside of Faceta Bos Villam IV.

I don't kmow much about 40k and I find this wildly autistic. That being said, I find it to be the wholesome autism that makes me enjoy this forum. Good work lad.

Fucking based brother.

Saved the pic, got some trophy helmets on the backpacks of my chaoschads. I’m gonna paint a few for all the fallen Kiwis out there.

Could also do TSons loyalists, or even a Cursed Founding experiment to recreate a loyalist TSons Chapter. Naturally we'd be stuck in an eternal rivalry with the Blood Ravens, our vox-archives under constant thread of raid by them.

Also fits the bird motif, too.

The Blood Ravens want to use our vox-archives to make pict-videos to upload on the Noosphere and they wont even credit us for the info!

I shudder at the thought of Marines that fell not to Chaos, but something even worse.
The ancient evil known as Son Of 'Chu, a name that makes even the Chaos Gods weep in fear...

Chaos Undivided warband that honors the gods in a way that makes Lorgar look tame.
-Virgins with rage (like all Khornates)
-Love Quest (An eternal crusade in the name of Slaanesh)
-Repulsive hygiene (Nurgle loved that)
-Hair-brained schemes are still schemes and that honors Tzeentch.

very cool! but you lose points for using primaris tranny marines. you will never be a real space marine.
Probably should have looked for some truescale Heresy Firstborn, in retrospect. I tunnel-visioned on picking something represented in Kill Team and so went with an Intercessor, but it will indeed never be a real Marine. At least it's got a Mk7 helmet.

This is fantastic! Please consider adding the mati ham ham in somewhere if you paint more. There will be more right? Sorry I’m a filthy community notes flyby - not played 40k for yeeeeeears.
Probably going to do another five in total, to fit the Intercession Kill Team, now that this one turned out reasonably well. My freehanding isn't great, which the Sonichu helps hide by being deliberately bad, but I'll at least give a news ham an attempt.

Quite nice highlighting. Most in the 40k community don't seem to bother with that touch anymore.

You not doing the bases or anything?
I did this as a quick break from highlighting a big block of Striking Scorpions, so I'm very much in the rhythm of vibrant green highlights. I didn't feel like leaving base texturing to dry before posting the image; at this point, I'll probably just do all the bases in a batch at the end of the project.

You will never be a real space marine. You have no record in the heresy, you have no primarch, you have no rhino. You are a homosexual man twisted by drugs and surgery into a crude mockery of the emperors perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back the mecahnicus mock you. Your chapters are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “battle brothers” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors. Chaplins are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of studying the Codex have allowed Chaplins to sniff out heretics with incredible efficiency.

Even primaris marines who “wear real space marine mk7 grill helmets” look uncanny and unnatural to a space marine. Your bone structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get an Inquisitor home with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected Geneseed.

You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your chapter will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment.

They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a primaris is buried there. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that is unmistakably shit and doesn't fit the setting or preestablished lore. This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.
