I love Kharn’s depiction in that novel, I heard a Mick Gordon track every scene he was in.

In a way, yes because then it means keeping track of 2 separate rulesets for the same game in my head week to week. I wouldn't do that for 40k, seems like it would be equally as obnoxious for 30k(possibly moreso).Asking if your LGS group can keep playing 2e is "house rules"? You could even pitch it to the guys that run your LGS, sort of like how MTG is split into several formats, and usually runs on different days because of that.
If true, I hate that.every legion had them.
No.Asking if your LGS group can keep playing 2e is "house rules"?
According to the new box that's how it works. Just like every legion had this saturnine stuff the entire time.If true, I hate that.
At the same time as forgetting that jetbikes existed.According to the new box that's how it works. Just like every legion had this saturnine stuff the entire time.
The CEO wants 1:1 rules for models and 1:1 units per army. Its just an open attempt at selling more plastic by removing old stuff. Despite the fact you can't buy half the stuff you need because they don't make enough. If thats the case, why delete them in the first place?
Not sure what you mean by resources? Waha has a kill team page for rules, Glass Half Dead is a youtube channel that covers it pretty well(2-3 videos a week, covers a bunch of teamsand how they play, game updates, etc.) even if the guy who runs the channel is kind of a fruit.GW say that sending loadouts and models to the shadow realm in HH doesnt matter balance wise because its narrative driven.
If thats the case, why delete them in the first place?
Sidenote, bought my first killteam (Blades of Khaine, may buy Mandrakes too) because i wanted the models. Any recommended resources for KT? Its mostly going to be vs my mate for a while.
For you to consume product and get excited for next product.GW is burning a lot of good will even with normies, what's their end game? Their greed is unsustainable.
Personally, I'm all for it. Burn it all down.
Normies... as in the bulk of GW's audience won't give a shit about HH 3.0 in 6 months and a lot of them won't even wait that long since the next shiny thing will be jingled in front of them in a little under 2 hours now. Actual normies don't know about this HH 3.0 launch debacle and won't care. The video game players were busy lapping up the arbites class added to Darktide.GW is burning a lot of good will even with normies, what's their end game? Their greed is unsustainable.

Sure but that's almost a decade ago now. Other companies and games have come and gone since with nothing coming close other than x-wing and it looked like SW Legion for a bit, but once again the company behind it shot themselves in the foot(at least this time it was due to being a licensed property).A pity Privateer Press fumbled so goddamn hard with WarmaHorde 3E that it killed any interest and competition for GW. Always liked their skirmish approach.
All they sell is even smaller niches than GWs products. "hell of a cost" would be an understatement, it would tank the company if they expanded their retail store to multiple locations. Yes, they've got a retail store already(2017 is when it opened) partnered with what looks like Army Painter and AK, but even then it's another tiny store not much better than a GW that can't host more than 2 games at oncePerhaps if Warlord began opening its own stores around the country we could see a shift but even that sort of expansion domestically would be a hell of a cost.
Keeping everything on that single plane like the spin cast metal minis also cuts down on the modeling time, chopping it up, leaves sprues simpler(so less screwing around with flow simulations and needing to adjust them) and keeps the sprue count down and well as minimizes the necessary thickness of the molds. It's not quite as bad as it used to be with everything looking like it was designed in only two dimensions, but the pattern is definitely still there. They look about 30 years out of date. They have that static 2D look that older metal minis used to have because of the casting process (very little movement outside of a single plane; you'll know it when you see it). Even the newer ones have that look to them. Is it to stay in keeping with their older sculpts or is it just laziness? Who knows.
No idea what you mean...And for all of the complaining about GW's faces
I'd buy one of those Chaos Dwarf mortars with the snow plow as the basis for a Daemon Engine conversion. Other than that, not seeing much to raise the pulse so far.Chaos Dwarves for AoS
Yeah About that no females.Hm. Huge Votann update with the new codex. Two new HQ (an Ironkin hivemind and a Tyranid Hunter from a dead League), a Mole Mortar, some vehicle, and an Ironkin version of the AdMech robots.
Edit:
A bit offtopic, but the Chaos Dwarves unsquatting for AoS is pretty neat. For good or bad, the other dwarves ran when Chaos came during the Endtimes. The Helsmiths of Hashut instead turned to worshipping an ancient Dwarven diety that was better off left forgotten (Hashut). When the Chaos hordes came for them, they didn't flee -- they locked them inside their holds with them and broke the demons down for resources. So you have traditional dwarves with a bull theme (Hashut is a giant bull god) and demonic essence infused golems and weaponry.
Edit2:
I just noticed not a single female Chaos Dwarf shown once. Heh.
Hey look, Trans representation!Yeah About that no females. View attachment 7660601View attachment 7660602
