I was very clear about that after you disqualified simply glancing at datasheets. Let's see what you said

And then what was the beginning of my response to that

I simply gave additional reasons I don't like it after that statement. You asked if I read the rules, I said yes and that I don't like them. Can't get much clearer than that, the rules are the game.
I think you're missing the point I'm getting at is I wanted to ask why you don't like the game. Ok you've read the rules but the only thing you say is you didn't like them, but are for some reason dancing around the issue of actually saying what you didn't like. This is the weirdest response I've ever seen for such a benign question.

I didn't like the rules because I didn't like them. What else is there? Oh wait
Nope, because I've read through it and I've got zero interest in what I've read. 40k can definitely do with some removal of dice rolls, and especially re-rolls, but no I don't want as much randomness as possible removed from the game and a failed charge roll shouldn't grind a game to a halt either(should also not be trying to rely on 9"+ charges but that's a separate issue).
I don't like the rules, I don't like the randomness removed from the game, and I even point out a non-issue I have with charge rolls(and referred to people failing at understanding odds on 2d6). So no, I did not simply state that I didn't like the rules for the sake of not liking them, even though that's a perfectly valid reason to not like rules. You didn't state any qualifier of a required amount of things in the rules to dislike(which would be absurd if you did).

So you're not remembering your own posts, but complaining that I didn't state things that were there in plain English and even right at the beginning of the response, then shifting the goalpost and still failing at that because I did point out a specific detail when you claim I didn't. Are you just offended that I don't like OPR or something?

No you're just on some BPD shit right now. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.

The thread isn't even about OPR and it isn't like I go to the tabletop thread and bitch about it there(kind of the opposite actually, but I guess you missed where I pointed out that I'm fine with it's increase in popularity since just because I personally don't like something doesn't mean there shouldn't be options available for people). I'm not even saying the game is the worst shit ever, I'm just saying I don't like it after your repeated questioning about it.

Yeah, you're mad someone doesn't like a game you seem to like for a reason you're willing to find acceptable after needing to present absurd qualifiers and shift the goalposts. What next, you get angry when someone doesn't like the same flavor of icecream you do without providing a bullet pointed list of at least 5 reasons that you're willing to validate?

Is someone who plays Warhammer frequently and also plays all of the Fantasy Flight games that were made. Also all the new TTRPGS on based on Warhammer are fucking gay and if you play them, kill yourself. I mean that with 100 percent sincerity.
The point I'm making is I just ignore the faggots and I do not play with faggots. Well, besides this one annoying faggoty communist, but I just don't mention politics around that asshole because I don't want to start shit.

I finally started updating my Iron Hands with the new MkII kit. Going to try and get whatever bionic pieces I can from the original minis. The arms for this one came from one as you can see, gonna finish the basing tomorrow.

Another retailer is seemingly struggling to shift the 3.0 Horus Heresy starter. They are offering 50% of another Warhammer product in your basket when you buy the Saturine box.

They're currently selling the box at £156.00 also Alchemist Workshop who I screenshot a couple pages back still has 322 boxes in stock when I last check this morning.

I should get back into the Rogue Trader game and play as an Arbites with the DLC. I usually go officer and have a bunch of guys who give free turns to Argenta… feel like maining a shotgun character and going in with shock mail and shield would be decent because on my previous playthrough Id somehow always end up on the line. Probably will have a better understanding of the level up now with all the Dark Heresy I’ve been playing lately, before I was just clicking at random having no clue what things did with skills.

And an Arbites would be different, usually I just play as a Tanith-esque character in all my games focused on stealth and sniping.

I'm waiting for at least the trazyn dlc next year if not both they plan on releasing in 2026. @HumbleArchitect said a while back that Lex changes some stuff in Act 1 so I don't feel like playing a new character every time, and Dark Heresy doesn't have a release date yet sadly. Last character was a melee pyro psyker with kibellas class, quite fun.

LOL, fucking GW and their codex writers. Seriously? This gets literally just a sidebar?

And what even is that? Malcador didn't expect to get killed on the throne and was intending to go back to Titan one day and go "it was just a prank bro, I wrote it on a napkin from Olive Garden one day at dinner"?
The Status Quo must be preserved at all costs in the 42nd millenium.

Just a heads up, the DLC companion is a shotgun build, if you want to bring him along. Not that you can't make him into something else, but my autism would be mad at the wasted levels.
Probably my biggest issue with RT. Every role you could fill can be done by a companion and usually in a better way. While I know that the tabletop you don't even play as the RT but idk. Even being an officer or commander you have jae and cassia, which I guess double commander would be fun.

Alright back to commissar officer work then

It’s really OP imo. You can keep guys constantly engaged and moving just with Cassia and RT as officers and Cassia’s navigator powers are great working around things when the warp veil is extremely high

FWIW, I had fun with a maul+shield Arbites RT. Motherfucker would block every attack, and then counter-attack twice, killing the opponent. And in case he didn't block, he had infinite armor and deflection, so the attack wouldn't do anything anyway.

Not really. Heinrix is very underwhelming compared to a custom made psyker-knight even though he gets to have two psyker trees at the beginning. Solomone is actually dogshit and has the worst overseer pet despite it being his entire gimmick. Abelard has the worst origin in the entire game. Idira always has a chance to explode and is primed from beginning to be a buffer and debuffer, which you can still do far better as a dogmatic sanctioned psyker thanks to the Eyes of Joyeuse setting you up from the get go. Marazhai is objectively the worst companion in the entire game. Pasqal, Yrilet, Jae, Kibellah, and Cassia have unique mechanics that make matching them difficult but only Jae and Cassia's can't be out done for obvious reasons.

Kibellah and Argenta are just hyper optimized for their archetypes. You can still outdo them with the Death World and Fortress World Homeplanet origins though. Crime Lord's plans are bullshit that can put you above Pasqal and Yrilet's sniper abilities.

You are right that most roles can be covered by companions, but I really don't have an issue with that. It just means you can focus on what you want to do for a character. And I like annihilating everything as the super speshul awesum donut steel, which is usually a hyper-optimized blaster psyker or deathworld psyker-knight that dodges everything with baseline agility because of survival instincts and psyker boots before the ghost helm becomes available.

I really want to play as a completely normal character sometime, but I'm not sure what build would fit it. I've done a crime lord gunner before but picked up the halo device. Maybe I'll try a lawman like this

Got a free space marine mini from my local Warhammer shop today. Painting it will be interesting.
