“Yo momma jokes don’t work on me, my mom died” level nuke

This looks so fucking good. How do you take photos like this? Mine always come out blurry

I'd rather have 4 good ones and get some updates via DLCs and Expansion Packs than 6 halfassed ones.

i dont know who this retard is but I really, really, REALLY do not like him from video thumbnail alone.

He's like the epitome of soy brit while constantly sucking off GW, and pretending he knows shit about 40k. Back when the new drop pods were announced he was bitching about drop pods having bases on his stream, they don't fucking have bases and also couldn't figure out that it was fewer sprues per drop pod. He fucks up other basics of 40k shit quite a lot too, even regarding space marines his favorite faction he humps GWs leg over, and will complain when space marines go 3 months without getting a new model as if there aren't a dozen other factions in the game. The guy consooms and doesn't even play or read shit.

Congrats, youve spent at most 60mins per model (if you have brain damage), done some real basic painting that no one will callout and it didnt require skill, let alone you doing more than slapping paint on brush and then mini.
I usually do a production run for some of my KTs. I’ll start with the base and then pick a color and do all that on the rest of the models so that by the time I’m finished the paint is dry and I can move on to the next part. I’m not the bestest painter but I can get them all in a tabletop ready mode easily enough with some beers and a podcast.

>tfw I have a tremor and would never be good at painting minis

People with extreme tremors can still paint minis. MS_Paints is a youtube channel where the guy who runs it has MS. Aside from many techniques(positioning yourself so you elbows are against your knees, arms against the edge of the table, and palms together while having the mini stuck to something to hold it like a pill bottle with some double sided tape, shit like that), tips(drybrushing instead of trying to edge highlight, using washes where appropriate, picking simpler color schemes), etc. to help and of course not bothering on worse days, simply picking an army that doesn't require painting as much fiddly bullshit can help. So don't pick something like admech or sisters of battle. Even a guard army you can primarily just paint tanks. Space marines, Tyranids, demons, they're all either primarily a color or are generally low on detail(you don't need to paint every individual part of a belt buckle, holster, or reliquary hanging off of a belt either).

Stamping products exist to avoid doing freehand or playing around with waterslide decals.

Also consider that if you screw up, you can still just paint over it anyway. Even big tournaments, their requirements are usually 3 colors, a technique(like a drybrush or wash), and something for the basing. Space marines? Easy, prime them in the main color you want. Paint the pauldrons black, paint the guns and swords silver, and then hit the entire thing with a black or brown wash, and slap some mud basing compound on it, done. Frankly, assembling with a hand tremor I find to be more of a pain in the ass than the painting, so if you can get the minis together, you can definitely still paint them.

Will it look like some golden demon winner shit? Fuck no. Will you win a local painting competition? Fuck no. Will it look better than all of the people playing with gray armies? Absolutely. Fuck, the imperial assassins I painted and posted a picture of previously in the thread I did with hand tremors. We're not talking Michael J Fox levels, but if you've still got the dexterity to type then you can paint. Even if you can't paint eyes... just do a flesh wash over a flesh tone and it'll usually just end up looking like they're squinting. Remember, this shit's going to be sitting on the table seen from a meter away.
This shit is going to look more like the thumbnail rather than the zoomed in image when you see it on the table anyway.

If you haven't tried it, try it. You might be surprised. Fuck, this guy paints Black Templars and he's blind for fucks sake(video is German but it's got English captions)

There's nothing they could've done. By the time the last of the craftworlds set sail away from the Eldar core systems the vast majority of their empire had fallen to mass debauchery, to the tune of 8 in 10. Humanity's case is different in that humans can't learn and they live shorter lives.
As for the raiding claims, we have in-lore mentions of space marine legions wiping out complete craftworlds during the crusade, that's actual craftworlds non-affiliated to Commorragh or lost to chaos.
There aren't even any dark eldar raids during the heresy or great crusade as the Dark eldar dont really exist for another couple thousand years at that time the comorrogghites are just suffering as they slowly loose their soul and they dont know how to reverse it yet

lol, look I'm just being realistic. It's not impossible, but the detail on the spindly bullshit is setting yourself up for a headache.
I get it. I didn't have much success with soldering either, though I understand there are life hacks similar to what you mentioned for painting. Since you reminded me of it, I would now like to take the time to remark that these models are really really really fucking gay:

The chicken walkers are the best part of the army.

Edit: you can fill a whole 2k army with just dragoons and ballistari with two troops and 3 skatros. It will also only cost you 2 grand.

Maybe per the rules of the game but I've seen people complaining about how fragile the models are and how are they going to go into cover and concealment and be inconspicuous with those ridiculous unarticulated Uncle Sam at the county fair stilt legs?

This is the way.

Production line a box with a podcast or audiobook of your faction and you could be done in an arvo.

Genuinely dont understand how painting, a core part of Warhammer, upsets people so much.

The problem with every model that is smaller than a space marine is they are fragile and spindly, just look at the ridiculous centerpiece models from Sigmar. You can barely pick them up and move them. I love the ridiculous look, it makes them feel like an actual weird artificial faction that isn’t just not space marines.

I like the newer da Vinci-style ornithopter Skitarii and (obviously) a lot of the Mechanicus models in general. The Skatros models are just not doing it for me though. Here's another thing I never really liked, the tall, narrow Techpriest hoods:

I know it's supposed to make you wonder what sort of cogitators are underneath and everything that they can do. But for me I just imagine taking off the hood and seeing an enormous dildo.

I think its supposed to suggest a religious hat. Most of the line is bipolar in quality that most factions don't deal with. What's with the cyber dog mounts or the Pteraxii? The electropriests also look like garbage.

What do you not like about these models respectively

Look at HH Mechanicum then look at 40k Mechanicus.

One is how they should be, the other is steampunk cringe.

Or music related to the faction to get in the mood. My EC playlist is a banger.

I can see "steampunk" applying to Sulphurhounds and Pteraxii but not Electro-Priests. It seems they don't have any 30K models though, so there is no comparison.

The first thing that came (haha, "came") to mind when I thought of music related to the Emperor's Children was this:
