>tfw I have a tremor and would never be good at painting minis
People with extreme tremors can still paint minis. MS_Paints is a youtube channel where the guy who runs it has MS. Aside from many techniques(positioning yourself so you elbows are against your knees, arms against the edge of the table, and palms together while having the mini stuck to something to hold it like a pill bottle with some double sided tape, shit like that), tips(drybrushing instead of trying to edge highlight, using washes where appropriate, picking simpler color schemes), etc. to help and of course not bothering on worse days, simply picking an army that doesn't require painting as much fiddly bullshit can help. So don't pick something like admech or sisters of battle. Even a guard army you can primarily just paint tanks. Space marines, Tyranids, demons, they're all either primarily a color or are generally low on detail(you don't need to paint every individual part of a belt buckle, holster, or reliquary hanging off of a belt either).
Stamping products exist to avoid doing freehand or playing around with waterslide decals.
Also consider that if you screw up, you can still just paint over it anyway. Even big tournaments, their requirements are usually 3 colors, a technique(like a drybrush or wash), and something for the basing. Space marines? Easy, prime them in the main color you want. Paint the pauldrons black, paint the guns and swords silver, and then hit the entire thing with a black or brown wash, and slap some mud basing compound on it, done. Frankly, assembling with a hand tremor I find to be more of a pain in the ass than the painting, so if you can get the minis together, you can definitely still paint them.
Will it look like some golden demon winner shit? Fuck no. Will you win a local painting competition? Fuck no. Will it look better than all of the people playing with gray armies? Absolutely. Fuck, the imperial assassins I painted and posted a picture of previously in the thread I did with hand tremors. We're not talking Michael J Fox levels, but if you've still got the dexterity to type then you can paint. Even if you can't paint eyes... just do a flesh wash over a flesh tone and it'll usually just end up looking like they're squinting. Remember, this shit's going to be sitting on the table seen from a meter away.
You faggots fearmonger every time and work yourselves up over the slightest things.
No, HH is not in danger of the tranny, 40k is. HH is the side game for the experienced autist, it has a higher entry cost, more expensive models, more numbers, resin models the wetbrain hates, required kitbashing for some characters/units, setting “rules” that are non-negotiable and no xenos.
Even with the autism to tranny pipeline I don't see that happening for HH. The shit people come up with here sometimes makes me wonder if they actually play or even go outside. HH 2.0 had a huge marketing push...
This shit is going to look more like the thumbnail rather than the zoomed in image when you see it on the table anyway.
If you haven't tried it, try it. You might be surprised. Fuck, this guy paints Black Templars and he's blind for fucks sake(video is German but it's got English captions)
