If this is even remotely true I would love it. I'm not even sure how the hell it would work but seeing the iron warriors break off from chaos would make me immensely happy.View attachment 8117175

I might buy a model and paint it just so I can put him next to all my historical collectibles. If they keep that up with Trazyn it'll be fine.
Must consoom this slop.https://youtube.com/watch?v=cUDcQG8oiLMSo they got the orignal vampire survivors guy(Poncle) involved using his engine but it looks kinda boring and probably won't cost just $1. Part of the appeal of VS was the ridiculous weapons and combinations of them(before they even added combining weapons), I doubt GW is going to allow anyone to get even close to being creative with that shit in this game.
This has been on steam for a while as a future offbrand alternative, but also with an unknown price.https://youtube.com/watch?v=cUDcQG8oiLMSo they got the orignal vampire survivors guy(Poncle) involved using his engine but it looks kinda boring and probably won't cost just $1. You have to remember how modern GW handles their video game licensing, it's always effectively low-risk for GW specifically because they don't throw money at it. If you look at the pile of slop games with a GW IP tacked onto it for the past decade(especially including mobile, and all of the stupid card games) it's fairly apparent that GW gives zero fucks and will approve practically anything as a concept while still retaining the right to veto shit or make demands as they see fit to manage the IP themselves. That's incredibly fucking gay. And look, le heckin Malum Caedo! Hey reddit look!
This is so lazy it could have just been an add on to VS and probably would have done better than this will.
Why not just throw money at Arrowhead and have them reskin helldivers? That makes more sense than this.
And this is why we cant have a 40k battlefront game, or anything cool, for that matter. Kek, they even nuked the 40k mmo because they decided it was too risky. You have to remember how modern GW handles their video game licensing, it's always effectively low-risk for GW specifically because they don't throw money at it. Also if you look at GWs financial reports it becomes even more apparent, as they make millions off of licensing with barely any overhead. If anyone is making a GW game, they're paying GW to do it and likely have an additional profit sharing deal to GW can continue making money if the game happens to be a success. The one time in "recent" years that GW hasn't had a deal like this is TW: Warhammer where they seemingly signed off the video game rights to the old world(while still being able to retain some control over usage of the IP), like Marvel did with Spiderman movies ages ago, because even back in 2012 the WHFB IP was floundering. They probably still make a cut, and would explain why there's still no current mobile card game for "The Old World" and hasn't since the stupid PSP game back in 2005 or whatever it was.
Meanwhile with Helldivers having established itself as a brand with HD2, Arrowhead wouldn't have any reason to throw money at GW to slap a 40k skin on the game when they've already said they're done working with Sony due to their playstation account bullshit and forcing not selling the game in half the countries on the globe and will be doing HD3 on their own.
MMOs are always risky and niche. It's a mssive investment when you could get ChatGPT to make more mobile slop that will print billions. A Battlefront game should be such an easy win though. Who would we trust to make it? EA's out of the question. They can't even make a Battlefield game anymore. We need a successor who knows how to actually make a game. And this is why we cant have a 40k battlefront game, or anything cool, for that matter. Kek, they even nuked the 40k mmo because they decided it was too risky.

So GW's stupid Cadian obsession led to losing out on another smash hit.GW is too vain and I think what Arrowhead wants was squatted (Elysians)
Sure, but that also happened a lot earlier as well. I was just referring to the past 10 years or so, with the TW deal(that we still don't know all of the terms of) happening before their change in how they handle licensing now(which is clearly working for them just fine). Most companies would kill to have a department that can operate at 95% or more profit, while raking in 50 million pounds a year.I'm not sure.
One of the reasons WTW doesn't have naval battles, is GW sold the video game rights for Man'O'War to another company.
Apparently someone got their hands on the box and posted a couple of pics nowwhat where the darkwater contents?
Ngl, I prefer Cursed Cities hero's.Apparently someone got their hands on the box and posted a couple of pics now

Yeah this seems more like something I'd expect out of a box with the D&D logo on it.Ngl, I prefer Cursed Cities hero's.
So they get the box early but only post pictures of the hero models . . . really makes you think doesn't it?Sure, but that also happened a lot earlier as well. The MMO was nuked, because the guys developing didnt deliver on any of the shit they promised. And this is why we cant have a 40k battlefront game, or anything cool, for that matter. Kek, they even nuked the 40k mmo because they decided it was too risky
Spearhead is what combat patrol should have been, different battlefields with forces that are pretty well balanced between each other. It genuinely looks like a lot of fun and I've heard nothing but positive reviews of it.Couple of things.
One.
Been doing research on Spearhead. If I ever find players, I might buy in. There seems to be different answers on how to do that currently. What I find amusing is the 40k and tournament tards trying to theorycarft ways game the underdog system, failing, and then just calling it retarded. I can imagine this happening if they somehow managed to fix 40k, or god forbid, make Combat Patrol 2 a viable game.
There's a video by one of the designers about how he designed Spearhead that worth watching if you're into that.
Two.
I heard about the "leaked" "500 worlds" box set. It's some necrons, and clickbait YouTubers are soy-ling themselves with hype. But I don't know why. Best I can gather is it's Necrons vs Ultramarines. I thought the 11th edition box was going to be Ultramarines vs Orks, hence all the 5th ed nostalgia?
It didn't fucking help that PlayStation wasn't cooperating on cross play at the time and was still waffling. If they had gotten the stick out of their asses earlier the game might have lasted longer. They prematurely bet a lot of their eggs on that basket and Sony fucked them. The MMO was nuked, because the guys developing didnt deliver on any of the shit they promised.
The reason for that is due to GWs latest attempt at an underdog system "challenger cards" that was immediately gamed for a couple of reasons. What I find amusing is the 40k and tournament tards trying to theorycarft ways game the underdog system, failing, and then just calling it retarded. I can imagine this happening if they somehow managed to fix 40k, or god forbid, make Combat Patrol 2 a viable game.
The 500 worlds thing isn't assumed to have anything to do with 11th, if it is real it would be the end of 10th set of releases just like the boarding patrol boxes were for the end of 9th with the arks of omen thing and would have multiple factions receiving boxes like the boarding patrols in 9th.Two.
