He's a retarded grifter that gets his paypigs to clap when he yells about shit that youtube channels supposedly get wrong. The only problem with this is that he's gotten shit wrong himself on these livestreams that his co-hosts have had to call him out on, and he doesn't even stick to criticizing lore channels. He'll bitch about painting channels. He's a faggot.

Seriously, they're all run by faggots.
The italian guy is also a literal faggot lmgao

It's the right attitude but if they get bogged down in a shit fight over whether or not Space Marines actually worship the Emperor it won't have been worth it.
I expect 1 episode to be centered around a calm, but passionate discussion taking place between Guilliman and Helbrecht about the Emperor's divinity.

The episode will end with Blueberry Supreme still not being convinced, but shedding a lone tear as he fondly remembers Frater Mathieu.

Sorry if late. I'd post this to the miniatures games thread, but this one is more active.

Are there spoilers for Spearhead magazine? Is it worth it?

Powerlevel. I was at one time planning on buying spearhead deluxe (the only box that comes with full teams) and a box of Seraphon. However, a friend (and the main guy I play with) bought them instead. And while I didn't have "my guys", it seemed a waste to double dip.

If memory serves, the total cost would've been £200 (£120 for the deluxe starter, £80 for a spearhead). That means I could, in theory, get 20 issues of the magazine and break even. The magazine is supposedly 90 issues for 12 spearheads. The terrain and the Sand and Bone expansion muddies the formula a bit, but my quick calculation puts it at £75 per spearhead. If it matters, I won't be paying for the mail order models, just getting the magazine locally.

My main interest is Seraphon, but there's a bunch of cool spearheads. I think the fish and naked dwarves are the only ones I don't care for. Also the paints, but I can use them or pass them on to said friend. Getting Sand and Bone would be another neat bonus as I was tempted to pick that up.

Of course... may as well just assume it by default at this point.
Is he actually? Between him and that dark angels poem I'm starting to think my gaydar is broken.
At least you're not this guy I had to shed some reality to

They showed which spearheads would be included right when it was announced.

Sounds like you'd just need to be interested in quite a few to make up for the 10 pounds per magazine for 90 magazine cost unless you can find this thing at retail and just get the issues you want. Since you're in the UK, at least Forbidden Planet is an option for you

Inquisitor is also a good game, wtf. Just got into Darktide with buddies and now this is my go-to single player game at the moment. Was expecting to not get into it, but Inquisitor is fun as shit, even though it has some annoying control issues for me, as my instincts wanna treat it as a twin stick shooter. Also the cover system seems kind of crappy and so far useless.

Piss easy on normal so far, but I'll just enjoy it as a relaxation activity. I have no idea what online shit I'm missing since I didn't want to create another account for that, but as a single player game it's alright. It's the ultimate edition so most story content is still probably there.

Still don't know much about 40k lore but I do like the world of these two games at least.

Yes, but I'm looking for an issue list. For Combat patrol, people would plan out which issues were "efficient", and which ones had certain factions.

I was going to pick it up at the local newsagent/supermarket. They are unlikely to be camped like GW and Forbidden Planet are.

Beckham no one ever talks about the Fantasy Flight. Games though? All great. Anybody here play only war? A lot of issues with that one. It's fun, but. Seriously. Every 5 fucking seconds. Getting nearly blown apart by fully automatic fire, I mean seriously. One automatic bursts are bolt around in your guide. Men is fucked.
I did find it funny, however. How? All of my players Allied NPCS still got their faces blown off by hand grenades 'cause they failed to throw them. Hilarious.
Also, Death Riders is a pretty decent novel. It's basically about a commissary and the. Female Kriegsman, who? Who was definitely not 100% in love with him. And his Mötley Crüe people trying to find a regiment who was just going on standing orders from charging directly into the space communist lines.
I'd say it's kind of like a Western mixed with the military novel, whether trying. To travel through a wall that the Imperial Navy accidentally smashed a warship into during a battle.
The female commissary who was his mentor. It's funny how. She cares for him, but. She basically says she's turned him in too much of a pussy by actually being nice to him.

Ah, I get what you're saying. Fauxhammer used to do a good job of that but unfortunately he's a faggot who got tired of the ad spam on his own site and now just makes videos "reviewing" 3d printers with repeated slowmo jerk off shots. Combat patrol mag entries were weirdly found on spanish sites initially so you might want to keep an eye out on
https://cargad.com/ and https://www.goblintrader.es/es/27810100-Salvat
Yeah they're Spanish but since Spearhead is a proper noun you can just search for that. cargad already has a listing for the first 6 issues from back in January(that they got from forbidden planet) so at a minimum with regular checking you can probably see what's coming at least a few weeks out from FP if the spanish sites don't get a full list like they did for combat patrol.

Shit, you're lucky you can even do that. In the US GW only carried the first 4 issues of Imperium magazine and I don't think bothered with combat patrol. Newsstands aren't much of a thing here either so only a few online retailers and then Barnes & Nobile as a big brick and mortar carried it, but even then it was hit or miss mostly due to Hachettes retarded distribution(I can't remember the company they used, started with an A or something?) so they all wound up dropping Imperium around issue 30 something(the necron flayed one issue) and told 'em to fuck off since due to being stuck with all of the crappy paint and brush issues no one wanted and not being able to consistently get stock of the better issues.

Pontius is the new rising star, but he's very autistic and very Italian. I also like pancreusnowork though he's a coomer. I don't know what his politics are and that's for the best.
Pancreas might be a coomer, but he has entire segments of his lore videos dedicated to talking about the actual games, and that automatically makes him better than at least 98.8% of other loretubers out there. Although that's never been a high bar.

I never get YGW doesn't have a factory in the United States. Like, seriously. It's probably one of the largest markets for them building a 2nd factory to print more stuff in the US. Would probably be beneficial to them, but then again it is a terribly run company.
Then again, all of the competition are somehow worse.

I see.

How it usually works here is a newsagent/corner shop/super market will stock the magazine. If it doesn't sell, the unsold copies go back to the publisher. This continues, decreasing stock each time, until they don't sell any.

Another thing you can do is an informal arrangement. In a small local shop, you can ask the staff to hold a copy for you, they'll keep it under the counter until you come in. Oddly enough, one of the ads in the magazine is a card with a message on it to the effect of "newsagent, please reserve my copy of spearhead!" and a place to write your name. So this must be a common enough practice and not limited to my local area.

You mention Forbidden Planet. They do things differently. They have a whole section of Combat Patrol and AoS magazine, all the shit issues with paints and the like.

And as mentioned, the local small shops don't appear to have the problem of people buying all the desirable mags quickly. They might do, but I saw it pretty consistently locally, until they stopped selling it all together.

The rebranding of everything GW to Warhammer continues apace. This time it's Citadel Colour.
Honestly, this one should have happened ages ago. Most people just refer to them as "GW paint" anyway, and I can't think of any time I've called them "citadel paint" outside of knowing I'm speaking to someone newer and wanting to avoid confusion.
