I worded it wrong but yes I said it sold well however it’s recent edition has been very shakey I hear.

It has no cultural footprint and is consistently shown up by WHFB. What has stood out to me the last couple of years is that no one plays it anymore, at least locally. from 2018 until maybe 2024, I would see games at LGS's, but that has totally died down. Besides being hubgub nonsense world with 0 stakes, the mortal realms are drowning in copyrightable terms. I'd been listening to the G&F audiobooks with my brothers and one of them wanted to start the AoS books so I said sure lets give it a shot. Skipped the Audiodrama because Brian Blessed as Gotrek is grating after listening to Johnathan Keeble, but the next one - ghoulslayer I think - opens with a tidal wave of legally distinct fantasy words that aren't as smooth as they want them to be.

40k got lucky their pig-latin rolls off the tongue better than whatever bullshit they came up to copyright the fuck out of AoS terms. Reading about anything thats exclusive to AoS feels even more like a retarded young adult novel who tries to hard to reinvent the wheel in its donut steel fantasy world that ripps off Eragon (not even LOTR!), Hell, 40k got off easier with the Votann, not-dwarfs that already had a slang term in universe thats appropiate and fun (squat) and a vaugely norse inspired name because they're dwarfs. (Granted, iirc Votan does have some extremely fucking retarded things, but its not as offensively special snowflake out of the gate as most of AoS is, imo)

For a company the size of GW it not being number 2 is a failure. AoS exists to sell the occasional Spearpatrol but has no real identity beyond that. Its easy to pivot back.

GW is a media company in terms of revenue as much as it is a paint/miniature/rules company. Sigmar hasn't forged anything new. Total war ignited enough interest to bring back Old World alone, with Warcry gone and the new Warhammer Quest, I wouldn't be surprised if they redo Mordheim as the Kill Team for Warhammer (new logo doesn't have fantasy on it any more)

Do you seriously think that my generic examples couldn't have some trademarkable name(not copyright) given by GW? Come on. My point was to make 2-4 kits "generic" and do upgrade sprues. They sure as hell aren't going to be able to claim a trademark of "praetorian".

No, it is not a failure. Even if it's accounting for only 1/3 of their revenue from minis, that's still likely an order of magnitude more than some of their other product ranges.

This whole speculation shit about some "leak" is fucking retarded and serves to just show that some people want to just make up whatever bullshit narrative in their heads, with zero justification. Just the same as the stock price chart shit on the previous page where morons didn't even look at the dates and times of events in relation to when the stock price dropped slightly.

Unless you work at GW(and I don't mean a warhammer store) with actual insider information, or have anything else to show what you're talking about, it's entirely speculative bullshit.

I haven't needed AI for anything in this. I've said time and time again, just do some basic fucking research for publicly available information. It takes less than 5 minutes. The fact that you think looking at stock market charts, industry analyst publications, or GWs own financials requires AI at all shows you must be a fucking idiot.

Not sure if I believe it, but if it is real, at least GW this time didn't go with "If this guy dies, Chaos eats everything" as they do for 40K (since Codex Imperialis all core rulebooks say that if the Emperor dies, the universe is eaten by Chaos).
Also, it seems that it is just a result of the Skaven uniting for 5 minutes again. At this point, I wonder how they didn't just defeat all other Chaos factions if all it takes is to stop being retarded for an hour.

Nope, even before the Webway thing was added in Index Astartes, you had Codex Imperialis saying that if the Emperor dies, every human becomes a gateway for Chaos and time-space is obliterated.
I am not the type to bitch and moan "propaganda" and "unreliable narrator", but for this, I just rather ignore, it doesnt add anything for the setting really besides confirming that all that matter is a specific super duper dude.

Don't be fooled, this is still advertising even if it's not explicit. It's the whore equivalent of "I'm not touching you!!!". They do this to skirt the rules, there's a reason she dresses the way she does and always includes a picture of herself in a tight outfit. The jannies on that subreddit sweep for it every time too.

I checked out her OF shit out of curiosity and it's extremely lame shit. Warhammer is the only gimmick she has, she's clearly just trying to market to a niche group because she couldn't make it anywhere else.
