Warhammer 40k

The artwork has copyright 2025 on it. Unless I'm retarded and misunderstanding how copyrighted images/artwork work, that means the art was done in 2025.View attachment 8757733
That's how all copyrighted artworks even if you're going to use it or not use it, you still copyright it. For example, stuff I've worked on has copyright. From when we first created to now. Even though we've never used it.

Which ties into the other alternative I had proposed.
Alternatively they might've been considering redoing Steel Legion last year but figured it wasn't worth it until they saw the response and then pulled the sketches up to soothe everyone's anger.

We're going to bring back the crisms and fists. We're going to put the back of the box art.

No, it's basically because everyone was making fun of them and just paint it. No one at GW is that smart.

It's funny, 'cause Brooks is capable of actually being a good writer, Son of the Forest is actually a good book. As for ABD, he's just a God off writer and he definitely needs to be fired. And replace with Rick Priestley. I'm sure the original Crater 40K would come back. If you just gave him creative control.
Oh I am well aware of Brooks of writing skills and I'm not knocking him on that. Him inserting his personal politics when it adds nothing to the story is fucking glaring and I can't stand listening to him.

As for ADB, he WAS great. Helsreach, the Night Lords trilogy, and First Heretic are damn good reads if you're want space marine books. But then he did Master of Mankind and started the trend of making the Emperor a piece of shit while his own writing quality started going downhill too. Did not bother with any of the Siege of Terra books (I gave up on reading the HH books a third if the way through the run since it didn't look like they would end the fucking thing), but it looks like general consensus is that his SoT book was the worst of the bunch.

Man Orks are so late they never thought about having both sword and gun together (when every race is doing it, including Farsight T'au) until now.
It's purely to get people to not cry about these boyz being monopose. Has performance implications but wont change much gameplay wise. Multipart kit is likely separate from the vs box

As a Guard Chad I'm eating well, so that's all that matters. I am hesitant to see how no circle objectives works because GW are incompetent. Guess I'll see if I have to fix my current ruins slop to have extra floors
I feel bad for all the neoprene circles that just became useless dead inventory. This also means that the Armageddon box is likely to have terrain? Is it just a bit of sectioned out ground with two corners like that skaven vs humans box? Not really equivalent since that's Spearhead right? Is it - instead of a neoprene circle a flat piece of cardboard with art on it? Haha. I'm not sure how this is going to go over in implementation or practice, perhaps it's just forcing people to buy from GW specifically for the "official and approved" objectives that comes out with each seasonal mission set

For a company the size of GW it not being number 2 is a failure.
You're a retard. If by the report above for Fall 2024, 40k is 1, Battletech is 2, all of Wizkidz (DnD proper) is 3, and Aos is 4, then GW has 2 IPs that are gargantuan. its funny the Fall of 2024 report doesnt split up Wizkidz when Wizkidz makes a ton of different series of models, but they split up 40k and AoS, which while different games, are both GW.

Its basically saying GW's offshoot property nobody likes still eats the lunch of 95% of all other minitaure lines.

Its like Avatar (blue people). Avatar 1 is the top grossing film Of All Time, but Avatar 2 is like #3 or 4. Thats not a "failure", thats still 2.3 billion dollars.

Do you have a link to this btw? it'd be interesting to look at

What i foresee is what happened with the 10th edition launch rule of not being able to stand on the actual center of the objective marker, and they'll say "you can just use circle objectives if you like"

Yeah go to the linked post where I called the guy a retard and scroll up. Havent checked the thread in a minute so i totally missed the stream lmao.

>blood angels launch box
>not a single BA-specific miniature anywhere on the cover
Im either getting pounded in the ass or this is going to be lit as fuck, as is typical for blood angels.

So, aside from new Boyz models, seems we're also getting a new Walker and new weirdboi model
Yeah, some Mek piloting a Metal Gear//Sentinel. This is all as the rumors suggested. It's difficult to say if the big power axe ork was the Warboss or the Boss nob. Maybe I'm blind but I did not see a Banner nob or Painboy. Those are supposedly also in the kit. None of the Gretchin either despite them being on the box art. To take a wild guess, anything that wont be in the smaller version of this starter kit wasn't prominently focused on in the cinematic, but that's purely speculation.

The cinematic wasn't even exclusively BA, there was smurfs all over it. Maybe to call up the modular detachment changes?

Im really surprised they didnt announce
- a new BA character to go with the launch and sell them separately
- bikes for everyone

Im not surprised at
- new sisters model (NOT complaining)
- random tyranid model
- unnecessary guard model

Have they announced box contents? Highly unlikely to get it for some reason
