Unfortunately they just had Vashtorr basically being the B plot of the latest Cawl book. He got summoned to Imperium Sanctus from Nihilus, killed the cult mechanicum people that summoned him, setup a deal with some IW captain who is ignoring Abbadon, and lost an entire army of soul grinders to Cawl and a named ultramarines captain.Either they'll touch the tips of their demons dicks, thus sealing an alliance at the center of the 14th Black Crusade.
OR
We'll get an Iron Warriors book on the subject.
OR
GW will forget Vashtorr ever existed (they probably already have).
You mean besides himself? Or is that just a regular enemy?Perty needs a frenemy.
He needs someone other than himself to fight with to create new and more interesting strategies and war machines, I mean, and Vashtorr probably appreciates the competition forcing him to come up with better shit. You mean besides himself? Or is that just a regular enemy?
Themed enemy for the eventual return of Harlequins as a faction. What’s the point of Vashtorr now that Perty is back
Make a Horus Heresy or even better War in Heaven opera, and I mean an actual old school opera, and I'll be first in line throwing my money at it.Ngl I'm sad the musical is only an April Fool's joke, I'd gladly go see that thing with friends and a couple of beers.
Considering how many other random properties get unofficial stageplays I'd be surprised if there were zero actual 40K ones floating around in Brazil or some shitNgl I'm sad the musical is only an April Fool's joke, I'd gladly go see that thing with friends and a couple of beers.
You'd go watch those silly knife ears in their loud attire? TskTsk.War in Heaven opera, and I mean an actual old school opera, and I'll be first in line throwing my money at it.
I wasn't aware "buy something or leave" is a boomer and/or American specific thing. Does this mentality not exist in people born post '65 or outside of the States? Genuinely curious.but they really need to get rid of this boomer/American logic
If this was a way of soft launching the Amazon series and showing of the costumes I'm all for it. This reminds me of the cut scenes from the 90's pc games they made way back when. Throw in some Shakespearean dialogue and you're onto a winning formula.Make a Horus Heresy or even better War in Heaven opera, and I mean an actual old school opera, and I'll be first in line throwing my money at it.
I don't even need it to be that. Hell, as long as the singing is good and the costumes passable, I'll be fine if it's on a stage with wooden props. If this was a way of soft launching the Amazon series and showing of the costumes I'm all for it. I wouldn't be going for the knife ears, I'm going to see what they'd do with the Necrontyr. You'd go watch those silly knife ears in their loud attire? TskTsk.
I'll give you a quick example. Starbucks. You know, the coffee place.I wasn't aware "buy something or leave" is a boomer and/or American specific thing. Does this mentality not exist in people born post '65 or outside of the States? Genuinely curious.
FYI big audible sale goin on, can get a ton of black library audiobooks for like three bucks a pop.
I mean I'll always tell people to read the Ghazghkull book cuz it's fun, but the Night Lords Trilogy is sick, Fall of Cadia, Baneblade, Mark of Faith, and if you wanna love Iron Hands, The Calculus of Battle.Any recommendations outside the usuals? Currently working through the Horus Heresy on audiobook (just finished Fulgrim, fantastic).
Recommending Shroud of Night, really good audiobook quality and its Alpha Legion infiltrating a world under siege by chaos, so its a fun commando operation in between the usual fun stuff.
Edit: for something else different, listen to Assassinorum: Kingmaker for a mixture of knight houses and assassins enacting regime change via nonsense ploys.
