Oh man, on the subject of 40k guns IRL, I think the heavy flamer would potentially be something you could pull off building yourself as an American civilian. State dependant of course, but at least in most states there's not even paperwork required in purchasing a flame thrower. Here's a pretty good site for ordering them. Flame throwers are also pretty simple systems, and could be adapted to get a custom fabricated housing for sure.

Would it be expensive to have a housing fabricated to hold up to the flames? Totally. But compared to literal rocket science + learning gun fabrication itd definitely be easier to do.
 
I've learned there are discord servers, because of course it'd be discord, where you can join groups so you can have people to play SM2 with if you have no friends and can't handle playing with filthy randoms trying to have fun. Caveat is you need to adhere to their gay, power tripping LARP rules.

These groups demand you earn the right to wear certain cosmetics or use certain weapons and skins in the game. You need to prove yourself if you want to make your guy dressed like a vet or officer. You can't be apart of any other groups. You need to address your "superiors" appropriately. You need to play every single day or submit a leave of absence etc.
Putting aside just how gay and retarded this is on its own, it's particularly pathetic given how barebones this fucking game is.

I tried painting Guilliman, but I can't figure out the details on the armor. Please take into account that this is my first mini. On top of that one of the cable pieces on the armor broke, so I had to replace it with a guitar string.

I have official Citadel paints (please take into account that I live in an area where James Workshop has no reach) and a Vallejo one because the Citadel equivalent wasn't available, so that isn't a problem. I've been advised to strip it and start again, but I don't know how that is done, and I would appreciate any help in that, as well as painting technique.

You picked a massive, iconic character for your first swim?

Set it aside as it is now. Get some junk figures you don't care about, watch some Youtube or even AI some painting advice, practice on those figures. Keep Rowboat as a reminder of this. When you get more confidence and chops, get another Rowboat and use what you have learned.

$14.99 for Armageddon is a crime but it really is a one of a kind Panzer General-like that has never been attempted since with a pretty decent campaign (gameplay wise).

If you like autistic hex war gaming it's pretty decent.


Fire Warrior is OKAY for an old shooter.

Space Hulk is an adequate port of the board game. Ascension is a remixed version of the board game thats also fine. Skip tactics.

Gothic Armada is pretty good but just play GA2.

As I said, it's almost worth it to witness the FMV cutscenes of it. I won't dare spoil it.

As for the game, it's pretty damned brutal, even if you've got a command of the old Epic scale rules it's based on, so your enjoyment is going to be centered around how well you like that old style. I even fielded an Imperial Guard army back in that day, and the game routinely kicked my ass.
 
Is it worth picking up any of the games? Or either of the bundles?

I feel like price could be lower on these considering age of the games
