My guess he's e-begging because I can't imagine getting a professional voice actor to narrate your video would be cheap. It looks like some others helped out too, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got some money too. It didn't look like his French channel was doing too bad. A bunch of his videos have 100'000s of views...

Yeah, and he's got some that even have a million views. Yet one of the first things I see when clicking his own links is "Pay me" for a channel that seemingly popped up out of nowhere, it looks ridiculous.

Yeah, he's basically just saying that the youtube donations are not enough and that this round of donations will help support future projects. Regardless very few warhammer channels these days are actually born out of passion. They all have some monetary incentive in mind, since as it turns out, warhammer fans have deep pockets and since its still considered a albiet large "niche" you can make good money for what its worth. Take a look at adeptus ridiculous lmfao. Bricky has said that the only reason he started the podcast was because after is "lore" video (watered down normieslop) popped off, he realised that there was big money in doing warhammer content, so regardless of how shit his podcast, redditors will slurp it, admittedly because there isin't a massive range of warhammer content out there. Considering that they started out when fucking onemindsyndicate was around, it really was a easy to break into. Regardless the current warhammertube scene is a bleak cesspit of borderline tourists who pump out often shitty "lore" essays to youtube gibs, and with AI its gotten considerably worse lmfao.

You mentioned Adeptus Ridiculous, hell Bricky isn't even the worst of that, it's his gay femboy vtuber buddy DK that clearly gives zero fucks about 40k other than still doing the basic "ooh, wow, that's cool, that's brutal" etc. everyman reactions after years. The fact that they had to bring Kirioth into it just so Bricky could actually have someone to talk to on the podcast that is actually interested in it shows how stupid the whole thing is. It was gay when onemindsyndicate was mindlessly reading wiki pages verbatim, but it's still gay now and every lore channel is like this.

Bricky actually plays 40k, goes to events(seen him at some), and while he's a sloptuber and a lefty faggot he at least participates in the hobby and isn't a tourist or secondary. DK doesn't give a shit about it in any regard and isn't even a secondary, just a gawking tourist. Can't ever remember basic shit he heard the week prior, they got sponsored a bunch of models a few years back and he never touched them. The guy lives within a couple hours of Bricky and has shown his face plenty online but managed to never be bothered to at least try an intro game on either instance of that Dice Check batrep channel when Magikarpusedfly ran it and Bricky was on it, or when Bricky ran it(you'd think having a noob to show intro games would be easy content).

What the fuck lmfao. I know bricky at the very least plays warhammer (I saw him at adepticon) but holy fuck lmfao I didn't realise dk was a failed troontuber. I don't really even understand why bricky made him his co-host (well, I guess they are IRL friends) even back then bricky had a sizeable channel that could be leveraged to get someone who has a bit more clout on lmfao.
