ill leave the link for the full info drop

my question to white scars players (if there are any) is apart from them being termis, what else gives you a reason to grab them and add them to an army that seems quite heavy on hit and run tactics?, just from an outside perspective.

Not a Scars player, but I've been wondering the same thing myself. It seems like the point of these guys is to be part of a deathstar unit, like the Justaerin or the Tyrant Siege termies from the Sons of Horus and Iron Warriors. Alternatively, you might use them as a Distraction Carnifex to pull fire while your troops and bikes are getting stuff done, which is probably what I'd do with them if I were running a Scars army. I suppose they'd also make a good bodyguard for Jaghatai or another HQ if they were on foot. That said, if you're running the Khan and he's not on a bike, you're doing it wrong, so ultimately I have no idea why you'd take these guys beyond the fact that they look pretty cool.

They seem to be similar to Deathwing Knights in that they're dedicated melee Terminators imho. I don't know much about 30k. But if you can deep strike them, they could fill a similar niche.

That's pretty much what they are, and those glaives are pretty OP according to what I've read online, but you can also fit them with combi-bolters if you wanted shooty termies for some reason. 30K Terminators don't get to deep strike unless they have a Rite of War, Legion-specific equipment, or attached character that lets them do it, and these guys don't have access to any of those things or any dedicated transports, so they're pretty much reduced to foot-slogging. They do get some special rules that let them be a little faster and more mobile than most other Legion Terminators, which helps, but at the end of the day I think their best use is to bubble-wrap a melee-focused HQ unit and use them to go kill other enemy heavies.

There already seem to be shortages of certain shades of the new contrast paint. Glad I procured some Guilliman Flesh.

so some chaotic lads are on the way, and im liking the look of them very much.

I somehow ended up with a massive army of knights and they're a ton of fun to play. Hit like an 80-ton chivalrous truck, very adaptable, and has some really cool synergy you don't see with some armies. Everyone brings a ton of anti-tank now so don't expect them to be completely unkillable (in fact, deathstars can do a number on them) but nonetheless they do well. Don't think of them as ez mode, though. Yes, if can roll well and target hose your opponent's AT, you'll have a hard time getting wiped. But no, that doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen and certainly doesn't mean you're going to win.

Avoid FW ones cause they're kinda shit (despite fucking rad designs), and armiger warglaives are fantastic 10/10.

fuuuuuuuuuck me, let me just get another limb to sell while im at it.
What makes it better is seeing the usual apologists over there saying "Oh, but people are getting 20% off anyways" as if that somehow negates the fact that you're still going to pay more. I'd still be paying about $30 (with sales tax) for a pack of 10 guards with shitty scuplts and still don't come with enough special weapons.

Guards are now around 1$/point, people are gonna have fun with that.

It's getting to the point where it would be more economical to just buy a 3D printer and print your own sprues, especially for Oceania players.

What the fuck is up with Helbrecht's voice? At first I thought that was the TTS team joking around, but now I'm watching Helsreach and he actually sounds like that. That is how he officially sounds, despite being described as guttural in the actual text. What the fuck, mang?

Out of curiosity, what are some good recaster groups that sell in the US? I tried looking up sites and found the recommended ones were all UK only.
