How the hell did they come that conclusion? They only read the Mary Sue?All of my friends are convinced that 40k is about fascists being right.
Well that and site like Polygon. I've had to explain to them several times that I will not validate a Polygon or any such website as a source for any 'evidence' in an argument. This confuses them greatly. How the hell did they come that conclusion? They only read the Mary Sue?

That's what I like about Warhammer, it has that "damning ourselves to hell for the salvation of others" vibe that I really like in stories. In many ways it is perhaps one of the most noble ideas. I guess the whole "he who fights monsters" quote would actually fit better. It's more about presenting a reality where fascism is necessary. A feel-good space setting like Star Trek would be ill-equipped to handle a Genestealer Cult. The Federation would be debating freedom of religion for decades while untold billions are having their DNA hijacked to produce monsters.

Maybe tell them that it’s subversive. I’ve always thought that 40k could be considered a satire of authoritarianism in that only in a universe where literal demons and armies of sentient fungus exist is where authoritarianism is justified.Well that and site like Polygon. I need to take some better pics, but to whet your appetite, here's one of an older fig I built years back.I love kitbashed stuff so now you’ve said it you have to show us.
What if Kiwi Farms could be a subsection of Space Marines, similar to the Space Wolves in canon 40K?
I mean, we could claim @Null to be descended from Russ' seed for propaganda purposes, and have great archivists.
I'm rereading the "Space Wolf Omnibus" and want to get started someday.![]()
Not to ruin any future Space Marine building fun but a better fit if you want a 40k comparison would be an Inquistion Ordo considering what we do here. We investigate, catalog, and damn the lolcows like heretics. Null is a Lord Inquisitor he kinda has authority over us but can't really give us orders. We mostly answer to each other and if you embarrass us or yourself you can end up getting halal'd and become a subject of interest. We also have official rules like "no trolling plans" but might look the other way if you get results. We are also the subject of irrational fear among those we study and are treated like the boogeyman from people that don't quite understand what it is we actually do.What if Kiwi Farms could be a subsection of Space Marines, similar to the Space Wolves in canon 40K?

Wouldn't we just call each other faggots and then shoot ourselves? What if Kiwi Farms could be a subsection of Space Marines, similar to the Space Wolves in canon 40K?
