40K general has been fucking awful since the reveals not to mention all the spam pics of sigmarxism. I’m gonna stick to /wip/ threads until the spergs stop flinging shit.

I really wanted to play deathwing since I wanted a console replacement for Left 4 Dead since I don’t have a PC. Shame that it’s just awful.

It's a mess of a game that feels abandoned. The graphics and framerate are awful(which usually isn't deal breaking for me). No real gameplay depth to alleviate that though...

It has no dedicated servers, so it's plagued with tons of disconnects. This is especially terrible because it nulls your progression for that session...

So, if you want to level without interruption: you're forced to play special missions with the AI. Your AI teammates are dogshit, ordered with a clunky command wheel....

Very little enemy variety or tactics. Granted, it can improve on the hardest setting with a competent team(but that's rare).

The game was slapped together for a controller, where many of your power inputs fail to activate.

To be fair, I think it's considerably better on the PC. On the PC, I think it raises the experience to decent/good. But, it's downright terrible on the console...

I only paid 9 bucks for it though, so I wasn't utterly fleeced...

With that said, if you want a Diablo clone: Inquisitor Martyr seems solid...

So my assumption is, that's not a primaris?

If so is this the future for original Astartes? Very weird hyper specialized veteran elites that give them since minor recognition in a few of units?

I dunno guys, I still feel like the entire regular Spess Muhreen range is going to get replaced by Primaris. There was no effort to contrast both types in the trailer, so I think the inevitable direction will be a complete replacement of the regular line, and theg'll just be fieldable in the same sense that you can field 2nd Edition.

I'm okay with them having the Sisters of Battle advertised in the trailer - it's better than opening up a whole new can of lore fuckery with female SM bullshit. This is GW's attempt to make the Sisters of Battle as relevant as possible through proper advertisement, and I see absolutely no reason why any diversity sycophant would be unsatisfied with an all-female army that is more human than their compatriots and battle through armour and strength of faith. I can only hope that the alien races get their shot at pulping the Imperium in their own trailers rather than getting cucked like the Necrons were.

The black Ultramarine is off-putting, but I can live with it. My only issue with any of this would be if they go completely on-the-nose and preachy with this in the future, like how he hails from the world of New Wakanda and all those Impy wypipo are oppressing his native planet. Otherwise meh, you can paint your models however you want.

It also didn't go unnoticed by me that one of those Imperial Guard in the trailer was female. I wonder if this means we could be seeing a new version of Guardsmen released with optional female heads.

I'm looking forward to splitting the next spess Marin box with my buddy who plays Necrons.

Also I'm kinda bummed its 9th edition not 8.5 but here is hoping I dont have to box up those chapter specific codex supplement in more than 6 months.

Okay, but what if he is actually Alpharius?

What if he's actually Omegon that thinks he's Alpharius that thinks he's Omegon?

/jk

In all seriousness, unless one of Fabius Bile's clone of Alpharius got loose, it's not likely.
Rogal Dorn brutally killed the real Alpharius and Omegon confirms his brother's death as he felt his connection with his twin disappear.
Besides, the very idea of Space Marines from other geneseeds (even those from traitor legions) being declared honorary members of the Ultramarines is nothing new: see Warsmith Barabas Dantioch from the Iron Warriors.

No, you see. Thats all a part of the plan. Dorn killed Omegon, after alpharius hypnotized both of he and omegan to believe they were each other. Then, when gully went to fight Omegon(Alpharius), alpharius actually won. He got his chaos plastic surgery. Then he hit up cawl to make him a some new alpha legion marine sleeper agents. Then he got got by fulgrim. Now we are here.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but look at the style of the backpack. It’s another primaris model.

That makes 9th edition add at least 4-5 units to the marine army. I don’t get why GW has to make the marine list so bloated. Why can’t they merge the data sheet of a model and its variants together? Or even make the primaris model an upgrade? You get the captain datasheet and be given the option to upgrade to primaris for +1 power and +15 points.

I mean lets think logically, could a gully gully or dorn actually beat someone this bad ass?

Didnt fucking think so. Its all in the masterplan. How could you to beat a primarch that you dont even know exists. They are doing whatever it is they want, and no one is standing in their way, because no one knows their tru

Passing question, but how the hell do you even get you hands on an imperial armour? I was just browsing through forgeworld because Im a Krieger at heart, and like looking at the models. But I see the army and no book. Then I look on ebay and the books are $300+. Can someone explain it to me?
