Quarter pounder has had his say not long ago but again like the hamburger and pedo gate, Arch Warhammer’s autistic little crusade didn’t start until he got the shit end of the stick from the parent company of his chosen hobby.

Not long before this fizzles out like pedogate. I bet all customer service reps are just deleting emails at this point since they probably have their hands full with trade accounts regarding Indomitus.
 
Can everyone just ignore GW being autistic? They're going to pretend this never happened the moment virtue signaling goes out of style. Besides, if this costs them some money they'll make up the difference with more ass rape prices.

I think the hope, for most of us, is just that this idiocy passes, and that it doesn't go the way many fear it will.

Basically this. I'm personally more worried that they're going to capitulate in ways they can't easily taken back. Female Space Marines, for example, would be a permanent change to the lore that could never be undone. Or something that fucks with the Grimdark in some fundamental way, like Big Blue or the Custodes mentioning the Emperor was all about democracy and freedom or somesuch nonsense. "Diverse" heads for SM or IG, "Black Coded" and the like, which would immediately be used as evidence of racism and the need for more changes. That sort of thing.

We're already starting to see this shit bleed through in the edges -- ADB wanted to add Female Custodes to his books, and was pissed that the higher ups at GW smacked him down -- pissed enough that he said so publicly. He was either virtue signaling or trying to call in outside help to pressure them? How long will the higher ups at GW keep smacking the woke YA authors infesting the company?

This is why I don't mind Arch Warhammer pushing back against them. We learned early on in GamerGate that the reason they really REALLY want people who disagree with them to be silent is because if everyone else is silent, they win the culture war crap by default -- and it's always easier if they don't have to debate this shit. Without people telling them to get fucked over their stupid changes, the only voice GW would have heard the past 5 years was people DEMANDING Female Space Marines and "Black Coded" Imperial Guard and the like.

Arch should just stick to lore videos. He's good at those. Culture war stuff, nope. I don't like bluehairs either but you got to pick your battles, because what they're doing isn't sustainable. It may take five years or fifteen, but it will die off and people will pretend it was all a bad dream. GW is low risk as far as I can tell, warhammer is for everyone was lip service. When they fired that black library writer for screaming fascist too much for his own good they made it clear, they don't actually give a shit about woke, they give a shit about making books and minis at the end of the day.

The names of the lost legions haven't been released, and likely never will. During the rogue trader days there were 2 other legions called the Valedictors and Rainbow Warriors and primarchs were just regular astartes. This was retconned in 2nd edition.

I don't know where the Forgotten name comes from, but The Purged are a nurgle warband dedicated to wiping out all life in the galaxy even other chaos and nurgle warbands. They do this with nukes and virus bombs.

They were an Emperor's Children warband until they swore fealty to Abaddon and became part of the Black Legion.
Now, the Emperor's Children consider the Children of Torment traitors (the irony).

Adharon's Reavers. Because they are an Ultramarine Chaos warband. That's funny to me.

The Sons of Hate. Apparently, they have fought other CSM warbands for control over Brigannion Four, a Fortress World. Seriously, their name is THE SONS OF HATE. It's like Francis from Left 4 Dead multiplied into a Space Marine chapter.
I can imagine them doing the routine of the TTS version of Skarbrand, e.g. "I hate [insert noun or verb]."

The problem isn't Arch or Sargon or Hamblyburger or any of the other usual subjects raising the alarms. If you want to argue they're tilting at windmills, then fine, but the core reason they're even covering this shit is because of how many industries have already fallen to this shit - including much of traditional gaming. This shit follows a pattern, so predictable one could set their watch to it.

This shit follows a pattern for a reason, and while I can totally sympathize with those who don't want to give it (or Arch, Sargon, etc) any attention, this isn't going to stop simply because you try to ignore it. Ignoring it just gives it a chance to get worse. Let the speds draw aggro and spread awareness. It's literally the only thing of value they do.
 
One of the reasons they hated GamerGate so much is that GG took their little playbook that always works and just said no, fuck you. They rejected the very idea of their moral superiority. And they had no fucking idea what to do about it. It's why to this fucking day they can't get over it. It's why they were so outraged that GGers were talking to other hobbies -- Tabletop, Comics, Anime, what have you -- and sharing notes and networking and signal boosting the anti-woke.

There was a cringey speech that was turned into kinda cringey comic, but it really did summarize what things were like 5 years ago.


And of course, since then you've seen Zoe Quinn first infest tabletop (doing some shit tier work for WOTC) and then Marvel/DC, where she was recently outed as one of the founders / head karens behind the whisper network trying to enforce an illegal political blacklist on comics. Oh, and Marvel is now doing work with GW, too, so, if not through Black Library, the cancer will be brought in that way.

All this shit is connected, sadly enough. Social Justice Welfare is real, yo.

Can't wait till that festering cunt starts showing off her woke bullshit ... Tau? Eldar? No idea what some hipster douchecunt like Quinn would collect. Probably whatever her simps buy her.

I'm kinda with @b0o0pinsn0o0tz on that it will burn itself out in time. however at this point I'm simply tired of it, just crash it all with no survivors. at least this way something new will rise from the ashes sooner rather than later. so bring on black female genderfluid space marines who defeat another hive fleet with the power of progressiveness and turn them into literal allies going on gay parades and BLM protests on forgeworlds and shit for twitter asspats and chasing a non-existant demographic. and once they burned their setting to the ground like they did fantasy we can start with 50k (or a new system altogether replacing gw)

Anyway bugger all that rubbish. I wanna put together a bike squad but I’m not sure what would be better. I’m looking at either a normal ravenwing bike squad with two melta guns and a multi-melta attack bike or just a squad of three attack bikes all with multi-melta?
