New Necron revealed. This crazy bugger is called a Hexmark Destroyer. It's what happens when a Deathmark become afflicted with the Destroyer mindset. He ditches that sniper rifle, watches a bunch of The Last Starfighter, and pops out of his pocket dimension as the weird crossbreed of General Grievous and Reaper from Overwatch.

About 70% through the Repulsor just need to finish turret and side skirts followed by whatever embellishments I want to add. There are a couple gaps that need filing but overall not a bad kit and looks like a compact Land Raider.

Sadly I don't know anything more about the fate of 1d4chan than is in those 4chan threads. Allegedly the owner sold it to someone who fucked off and destroyed it, that is the rumor. I can't substantiate it but it sounds about right. I think Wikifag was tiring of the site and it recently experienced downtime (although the downtime was for the purposes of upgrading it which doesn't seem like the actions of someone tiring of the site.) There is an archive of the Wiki out there and there is archive.org so I'm sure it will be restored somewhere, in some form (although given the experience with ED, the restoration may be lacking.) Big sad.

That's sad to hear.
I loved how funny some of the pages were, like the Matt Ward one.
I think every fandom needs a parody wiki that is legitimately funny (not something a bitter, wine drinking savant thinks is funny).

Definitely RIP if true. That site is responsible for the vast majority of my general 40k knowledge, it has a huge responsibility for my interest in the universe deeper than the Dawn of War games. I definitely wouldn't have plans to paint up at least a few, and possibility an army's worth of Raptors Chapter with out them.

Do ppl do like different color schemes w the figurines or is there a guidebook ? I don’t play 40k but my boyfriend paints the sculptures and he puts a lot of detail into it.

There’s a million different colour schemes and people will often just make up their own. It’s one own the reasons I love 40K over something like a world war 2 game.

The Codexes usually come with an example of what various factions and subfactions look like.
That usually helps players who are wanting to paint their models to represent a specific faction.
However, like @Inquisitor_BadAss said, a person can make up their own color scheme for a homebrew subfaction.
 
Its so depressing about the culture war finally coming to 40k. But we all knew it would happen. *sigh*


Don't let them do to 40k what they did to MtG and D&D. I've finally gotten into 40k as the last bastion left for my nerdly autism now that Star Wars, Star Trek, and everything else has been made Woke. God help me I even wanted to start my first Army 😭

I do know the site had a SJW page and if you ever even thought about changing it from it's pro-woke stance, they'd go running their asses off to the admins to try and get you banned.

I still have a dozen 1d4chan tabs open in my browser, hoping one day that it may return. Guess ill actually have to start reading the real books instead of autistic summaries of events.

Just shut the fuck up and paint your space marines and your boogieman cant do shit to you. GW will always follow the money which means SPACE MARINES. No not female tranoid space marines, because that would require investment. GW is not marvel, they have actually made their company successful to the point of being able to last a single month without cash flow.
