They announced a Death Guard Codex before announcing a general Chaos Space Marine Codex. WTF!
It also appears they announced all the Codices and supplements for 2020. Gay.

I must have missed a beaky model?
They're piloting the Landspeeders.
GW castrated the beak.

That's disappointing, I was actually excited for Primaris Beakies. :(

Nothing says you can't toss beakies on your Primaris. But yeah, I do wish the Primaris Marines were more like actual Marines.

Edit: Holy shit watching the salt flow in the chat. Now I understand why they don't let anyone comment on youtube. They nuked one about how "retarded babies could win playing as Space Marines right now" that was particularly spicey.

Lol CSM players are cucked to shit. Deathguard Chads tho, they know what's going on. It's amusing that they decide that 3 sm codexs was fair. 2 sm, 1 xeno, 1 chaos would be fair.

I don’t know how much those Heavy Intercessors are going to see play. That is a 7 power level troops unit, which is probably around 150 points. They are in gravis armor so they lack mobility and if you want a damage dealing defensive option for your troops, it is probably better to go for intercessors with heavy bolt rifles or a tactical squad with a heavy bolter.

One could make special house rules to balance things out, you know, make it possible to go toe to toe with those lead bricks marines.
You could also avoid crusade mode and keep narrative play but mixed with 9th ed rules. Or just avoid playing SM for the moment. There are plenty of alternatives if you don't care about matched competitive.

So, now primaris have landspeeders, bikes, assault squads, chaplins, dreadnauts, etc, etc, etc, etc how long until marinelettes are put out of their misery and fully squatted?

Raven Guard have had a beakie primaris upgrade sprue for a while. I'm planning on getting at least one for my Raptors.

I really like the new Flayed Ones sculpts.

considering they all went up to 2 wounds, probably another edition or 2.

So how troops choice do space marines have have now like six or seven? So a 200 page army book plus supplement will probably cost £45 - £50 perhaps?

Not long, I'd say. Let's not pretend that they were going to hang around for very long once Primaris shit was pushed to the fore. It's just a shame that some time-tested designs that were winners from ages past are all going to inevitably be replaced by this floaty-vehicle and ugly-dreads bullshit.

Primaris just reeks of the pauldrons-on-top-of-my-pauldrons mentality. Even those Land Speeders look like they're massively compensating.
