Was looking for updates regarding the Eisenhorn tv show but it’s still quiet recently (thanks coof) but with all this guard talk they would be perfect for a band of brothers / saving private Ryan type of show.

Maybe fighting some kind of cultist insurrection or some Ork waaagh. Keep it light on the space marines and more insane aspects of the lore and it could work.

>Midwinter minis makes a video about how we are essentially paying to same price for warhammer miniatures as we always have.
>TOC immediately puts out what is essentially a seethe post about profitability, like it maters at all to the argument at hand.

Like nigga, who gives a fuck about the price of tin going up being the reason they switched to another material. Plastic at the end of the day is the best material. Its also rich coming from someone who plays HH primarily start to bitch and cry about pricing, especially an Aussie. I have a feeling ToC is gonna become a minor lolcow soon if he keeps putting out videos that just go "well ackshually". Not to mention his little tiff with Majorkill recently.

Calling all poor fags and necron players.
Your figures are going up next month!

ToC is such a minor blip on warhammer tube when compared to midwinter mini’s and he’s been going even longer then MM.

MM collaborates with people who aren’t even as invested in the game as he is (except maybe squidmar) and his tutorials are actually alright for what results you’re getting. I’d be curious to find out what sort of interactions he’s had outside of majorkill.

I think it’s just how he comes across. I frankly think GW shouldn’t charge such high prices for old models still in resin. The newer models are free game I guess it’s also just I think people don’t realize hobbies tend to be expensive and a lot of Warhammer players want to get into it fast and buy a 2k point army off the bat, realized it’s a massive amount of work and I get a nicely primed/still on sprue army for discount on eBay.

ToC acts like such a stereotypical 30k player I could never stand him.

I'm more of a Cadian sympathizer myself but I think Cadia falling was fine. It gave us the most Imperial Guard moment to have happened with a regiment fighting off the endless hordes of the warp as the planet crumbled to dust before they did.

I also think it adds a little bit more of an explanation of Cadians being the Ultramarine standard for Guardsmen since you have so many displaced Cadians settling on new worlds or getting mixed with other units and formations with nothing on their minds but to honor the Cadian legacy by training more Cadian shock troops.
I believe they retconned out the actual destruction of Cadia. Place is fucked up as all hell from the impact, heading right into Death World territory before you factor in the forces of Chaos still trying to yank it into the immaterium as a Daemon World because death to the False Emperor but it stands. Just like the Guard.

Didn't it literally crack in half?

MM also put out a collab album of really nice ambient music for 40k, his content seems alright.

You might be right about the operation since early on they said they would perfect is but early it would be kinda messed up. As it stands I dont really hate primaris and them buffing old marines to 2 wounds is something but id say by 10th edition we might be fully primaris. Unless GW really does stand by their word of "we arent phasing out old marines"

They should’ve just increased the size of marine models without having to come up with a lore explanation. It’s what they did with Chaos. I don’t blame them though because some autists would probably have flipped out if there was no lore explanation for the increase in the model’s size.

Yep, Cadia broke, but there still are forces fighting in the system.

On a different note, with people talking about AoS, one of the things I like about it is the variety of armies that you can make. Fantasy was restrictive in terms of how much of a unit type you could take. In AoS, you do need a certain number of Leaders and Battleline units, but the units considered battleline can change by taking certain heroes and sub-factions.

For instance, every non hero Flesh-Eaters Courts units can become battleline through one option or another. This includes the giant undead bats and dragons.

Pretty much every chaos book is at least two armies in one; mortal and daemon. And those armies can mix with themselves, beastmen, and sometimes skaven.

This method of army building allows players to truly make “your dudes”.

Committed to a 'cron army now. Started playing with the color scheme last night and Trazyn arrived from GW this morning. Let the tomb-legions march.

I ordered a made to order Indomitous box and after nearly 3 months it's still not turned up. I know that the GW website said it could take "up to 120 days" but I didn't realise how literal they were taking it. Especially considering some people got their box sets and people like me haven't. I dunno, it was just a lot of money to spend on something that's taking this long to arrive.

If it's past the 120-day mark, email them.

Email or call them even if it’s not the 120 day mark, just be civil. Ask if you can get a tracking number or something and mention you’re worried it might be lost in the mail. I’ve had good experience with their customer service in the past (books were damaged). They deal with a lot of autists so being nice goes a long way with them.

My Made-to-Order Sister Tariana Palos took four months from order to delivery, and that was only one model. Its barely been two months for Indomitus. Be patient.

What color is your base coat?

Canonically, the reason the galactic map doesn't go west too far is a giant space spider empire, yes.
Is that the race found on Murder in the HH? The ones the Interex quarantined? Mecharachnids?

Edit:

Got to echo contact GW support with order number. I've twice dealt with them regarding white dwarf delivery. Both times they were really helpful. As others have said be polite and it will go miles. To be fair covid did fuck up their supply lines and shipping a little.
