Supposedly, the amazing, flavorful new "trick" Poxwalkers received in exchange for losing FNP is that, get this and prepare to have your mind blown...they are now Toughness 4. Ingenious game design! They also don't scale up in power in large groups anymore, so your shambling horde is now better served as a MSU. Far from scrambling over each other like zombies, Poxwalkers are now much more refined soldiers who respect personal space.

Sorry for bitching about DG so much. I'm sure the next Codex will belong to an army that isn't dear to me and I'll shut up.

Cultists would probably come with a CSM codex. You should find it funny that Deathguard are getting a codex BEFORE csm.
It is better that we get a codex later in 9th edition. Gives us more polished rules instead of limiting the army wide rules to all non-vehicles/monsters like they did in 8th edition,

Though hopefully GW won't give us a combat patrol box like they did for Death Guard.

30 poxwalkers does sound fantastic but I hate that there is no vehicle and that there is a named character. Starter sets should always have that centerpiece model because of how visually impressive it is for new players and how it gives them a heavy weapon option. On that same token, starter sets shouldn't include a named character because of how limiting it makes everyone's initial army. Even if everyone starts out with the same character model, they might have different wargear or warlord traits. But with Typhus, everyone has the same leader.

Except not at all.

You're thinking black legion.
I feel that was true but I’d argue DG has been the face for Chaos since 8th/Dark Imperium. BL is still bland though like the ultramarines, they’re just not the face for chaos anymore. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing either, I prefer DG over BL.

I think Black Legion are the Ultramarines of Chaos. Death Guard are the Grey Knights of Chaos, spin off that has so many unique models and rules. they are essentially a separate faction in all but fluff.

DG only feels like this because they are the newest. It would be like saying the mortal servants of slannesh is the face of chaos for AOS now.

Now folks. Post those backlogs... Show your shame.

Death Guard is fucking great, any complaints to the contrary is obviously heresy! The grandfather loves you

You call that a back log? Get on my level you scrubs

Behind the boxes at the front is an almost entirely unbuilt death guard army. But wait there’s more

The rest of my Dark Angels in various stages plus my almost completed Chaos Space Marine Kill Team.

Most of my backlog is in little Ziploc baggies because I buy a lot of used stuff. My biggest backlog is probably Tyranid stuff, because I took a massive blackpill when I realized that since Cruddace is the head honcho of 40k now, there's a good chance they will never be decent.

My backlog is the way it is because of GW's delayed shipping.
I'm planning to finish assembling my Contemptor Dreadnoughts on Monday since my other set of autocannons finally arrived.

God I would love to see the EC and Slaanesh in general get some more love. Maybe finally get some tranny female SM so Sigmarxism can shut up (lol, they won't).

If only they’d shut up.

Does anyone know if the Slaanesh release is just AoS or will it also include stuff for 40k? From the looks of it, it seems like it’s mostly an AoS release since they’re releasing an AoS battle tome. Granted one can still convert the models for 40k.

They are releasing a bunch of AoS stuff because(from my understanding) they were the most lackluster chaos group(besides beastmen), I doubt that it would cross over to 40k on that fact alone.

Since Thousand Sons got Tzaangors, I'd be willing to bet that EC will get Slaangors.

Just found out about Arch's YouTube channel vanishing. Thank God it was apparently because of a hack rather than YouTube purposefully culling him in a post-DC censorship wave, but it's still concerning as to whether his channel can and will be restored, especially given all his enemies striving to see him cancelled for good. What's the latest word on his channel's status?

As I previously posted, he's uploading videos on Rumble (https://rumble.com/c/c-481744).
As for his YouTube channel, nothing so far.
