Holy shit those are non-terrible. Oh, minor note, but if anyone was interested in a Tanith 1st Guard army, that head on the bottom combined with the arms on the top left would be a good fit for one of the flamer bearers they have. Yes, she's a woman, and yes she's ripped. Sacra is a hell of a drug.

I think the trick they finally learned is to define the cheekbones with shading, not with actual plastic. The cheekbones on the other models seemed so sharp, if that makes any sense. Or they're just avoiding harsh highlights, which gives the impression of a softer curve, i.e., femininity. Will have to see how the raw plastic looks, and if this is just a better paint job (and thus the sisters of battle can be done right) or if they finally hired a 3D modeler who has ever actually seen a female.

The 3rd one, the one with scarring on the face, the fact that she has a cybernetic arm and leg all on the same side is a very nice touch. Tells an interesting story. The equivalent Space Marine setup IIRC has the leg and arm on opposite sides, which suggests a very, very clumsy marine who should no longer be allowed to use the Plasma gun.

Anyone read that new book that has the new ultramarine chapter they put rules out for? they look kinda cool.

The reaction of some of the youtubers to Arch's ban is pretty sickening. If it was Youtube removing him for "hate speech" then at least they'd have some moral ground. But instead he was hacked and nuked, a thing that can happen to any one of those youtubers (at least if they didn't have a tiny subscriber pool).

Well, now we can laugh at them if they get deleted and cry about it.

>want to run a chapter champion because he is cheap and can get a fuckload of attacks.
>Think that the captain from the chapter command box would look sweet as a base
>No one has broken up the the box on ebay.

Something just occurred to me: Why doesn't Games Workshop have a deal with Lego or Mega Bloks/Mega Construx?
Every other brand seems to.
Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Disney, Super Mario, Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Doctor Who, Sonic the Hedgehog, Back to the Future, Minecraft, Portal, and even The Flintstones have appeared as Lego sets or was in Lego Dimensions.
Mega Brands is no slouch either with the license to Halo, Call of Duty, Pokemon, Destiny, Power Rangers, Hot Wheels, He-Man, and TMNT among others.
I think Games Workshop is leaving money on the table regarding this subject.

They want people buying into the game systems, not just buying plastic. When you have someone actually invested (even mildly) in the game. thats whats gonna get people 2 buy multiple boxes of the same unit rather then just 1.

Games Workshop's brand is too associated with blood, death, killing, and grime for Lego to want any part of. Not to mention all of those icky guns. All of the brands you cite above as Lego partners have very little of any of that. Star Wars comes closest, but Star Wars is much much more family friendly, even with lightsabers and laser guns.

I read somewhere that the star wars lego sets almost always avoid having a setup where one humanoid would be killing another. It's always humans vs droids or what have you.

Makes me wonder if that was the reason behind the combat droids in the prequels.

Orly?
And those are the ones that are featured currently on the website.

1. How can you give your captain a warlord trait without it being a warlord?

2. The fuck are you doing with the reinforcement points? Get a flyer transport for your melee boys.
