To be fair, a marine army is usually cheap as dirt (for GW prices) and most players I know have a marine army in addition to the one they actually care about. If GW put as much love in Chaos and Xenos as they did in all the new AoS factions it'd still sell like plastic crack. Piety and Pain sold out in a few minutes without a marine in sight.

I have this problem where I am only interested in marines probably due to be basic bitch. I have Raptors, and Death Guard and am planning on Shadow Keeper Custodes as a summer project. I would be interested in orks but I think a lot of xeno armies just have habit of running way to expensive and have way to much models to paint. I looked into necrons and the army I wanted to build was a lot of models at least 50 models just for troops.

Like Orcs in AoS are a cheap army surprisingly. Or the Orcs I wanna run Ironjawz are considered the more elite like black Orcs so they are not a lot of models. However, armies in general in AoS are lighter on models (sometimes) .

Expect even when marines were bad people still bought them the problem I see now is they are too good and it’s mostly what people buy.
9th Edition punishes you both in and out of game for playing anything but Marines. They get more toys (this was always the case, though), they get better toys, and collecting their toys is cheaper.

Some Powerleveling here.
The Fucking cunts at GW will NEVER... EVER lower their prices on their plastic crack.

Why I'm saying this. I was a professional player when the GT circuit was real.
I'm one of those people that made the Siren Bomb Legendary.

I was a fucking brutal Slannesh player as well as Eldar, OLD Necrons, and Space Wolves. I clubbed baby seals and collected the salty tears of my opponents. I was one bad mother fucker that did not care if I was going to WIN the game. I was that Bad Fucker that made SURE you will lose the Tournament. That was always my mindset. To destroy my opponent anyway possible and I fucking enjoyed it. If I DID not like you, you were fucking doomed. You were going to get Murder Fucked.

I made a lot of pussies cry over the years, however I would always lose to kids so they can enjoy the game and get into the 40K world.

I have 100 pounds of stock as I was a master builder in creating things.

At one time I was 10% of gross profits in 1 store.

I even held Sanctioned Tournaments.

MY 100% Juan Diaz Slaanesh Model Army is insured for $5000. My School Necron Model Army is insured for $7000.

This is according to what the market will bare on those METAL models. Plastic models do not retain their value well.

I had a total of 13, 40K armies and 6, WHFB Armies.

I allegedly knew corporate and how they do things way back when.

In 2010 GW sued Chapter house in US court. Result. WE GOT TO SEE ACTUAL FIGURES on cost, sales... EVERYTHING. Though GW won the suit,... sort of... they LOST 2/3's of their alleged names of their product. and 1 million dollars in lawyers fees. Chapter House paid 0 fees as his lawyer was done on a Pro bono basis. GW also lost any sort of damages coming from this as they were trying to recoup their lawyer fees.

This same cunt of a company they tried to trademark Space Marine and the Chaos symbol, which of course failed.

This is the reason why now there are "special" names on their models so they can keep it Trade marketable.

AND then GW went full on RETARD starting at 6th ED (and later issues) which lost over 50% of their player base since 2012.

When I played professionally I loved the game at all aspects. When they FUCKING dumbed it down and randomized things I said enough was enough. Taking away on how to build specialized units, I just told them to kiss my old hairy ass and spend my money elsewhere.

Like Russian Hookers and Blow ;)

Enclosed is a picture of 3 Juan Diaz Daemonettes. They were originally painted 22+ years ago and touched up as needed. The picture does not do justice on the care and detail I went into to paint this... OLD SKOOL STYLE. The skill sets from working on this hobby carried over to my other successful careers.

It's not my thing now since I considered the most recent rule set pretty much shit. A few people want me to get back into the game... Looked at the Rules and said...

Nope....

And yes... even though I spent a lot of money into this game, I did enjoy it at the time and have several of my armies on my display case. I have no complaints on what I spent and would have spent a lot more if those rules were not so shitty. But again its not for me now, perhaps in the future.

If you like your plastic crack more power to you.

Just remember when you start grinding and snorting plastic sprues... because you can't get your GW fix... Then

Ya need help :)

Holy shot I think this is the first none limited product they’ve released I’ve seen sell out on release day.

The first combat patrol I seen sold out Jesus

I wonder if it's from that many people wanting it, or GW not making that many.

I've heard the Print to Demand Indomitus probably screwed up a lot of release schedules, I wonder if GW thought they could catch up by assuming no one plays Dark Elder.

I’m pretty sure the Indomitus reprints were done by the bug land factories and not UK. Unless they have outsourced all mould making to Xi and co.

That's terribly stupid even for GW. Most companies have learned their lesson from doing biz with the chinks and are actively moving their production lines to either SEA or Mexico.

Shadow Keeper Custodes I am gonna make will only have 29 models and cost about $300 for full 2000 points and that’s buying directly from GW wew.

Not doing any major forge world units just the Sagitarum which are just resin bolters, heads, and arms over regular plastic custodes. How good is an Eversor with Custodes? My fluff reasons is the shadow keepers need to subdue some bad shit and need to bring an assassin into the fold.

I don't know but if I were a custodian player I'd go for a telemon dreadnought, just for the novelty of grotesque overkill.

Eversor in custodes is redundant

Well I still need an assassin model I’ll grab a Dreadnought later and give him a nice bath.
Vindicare would be the obvious choice if your heart is set on running an assassin with custodes.
