Carl and Mooninites would be better Aqua Teen reps.

How would Carl work? He knows how to rock and play "count the bullets" but he isnt known for his combat abilities (and unlike Shaggy, there is no "meme" they can fall back on).

Tho hear him say "YEAH! TONIGHT!" when he wins and "it dont matter. None of this matters" when he loses would be very priceless.

Same kind of goes to the Mooninites. They arent physical threats.

At least with the Aqua Teens, you can make the argument that Shake could use Meatwad as a blunt object (lord knows he would love to do that and Meatwad can shapeshift into weapons). And Frylock can just zap anyone with his laser eyes. There is something in there that you can use.

Hey Carl knows how to throw down

Anyone thinking of the possibility of Disney creating their own smash game?
Pretty doubtful, but if they are going to do one, they'll probably do an Animation Domination smash game with Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, Solar Opposites, Cleveland Show, Duncanville, Archer, and The PJs (given they own the properties).

But sadly no Simpsons, getting the IP is very difficult.

I see, those are animated shows aired in FOX. Could it be the same reason why Marvel and Star Wars couldn't be in Kingdom Hearts?

Yes. Again, getting IPs for Marvel, Star Wars and Simpsons is very difficult, which explains why we will never see them in most crossover games from Disney. Besides, I don't think either Disney or Squeenix would ever have Marvel characters in KH3 given the Avengers game and such.

Actually, this was rumored/leaked awhile back. Someone who leaked both Nick All-Stars Brawl and Multiversus claimed that two other companies were trying to get in on the Smash craze. Given that Ultimate is over, it seems many wanted to try their hand at capatilizing on the empty market. For those two other companies, it was heavily implied/speculated that Disney and PlayStation wanted to get in on the market, so Disney joining is not out of the realm of possibilities.

The only thing is that a Disney crossover is happening currently with Speedway, so that may have been the crossover idea and the Smash idea was faulty mislead. Who knows though? The issue currently is that Disney Interactive is closed down, and Disney is a bitch with licensing, so it’d probably be a pain to get Star Wars or Marvel in with the animated works and Pixar.

I still think a smash clone featuring Fox's Animation Domination characters is still a weird, yet fun idea.

Another victory quote I would love:

In terms of actual moveset, it's a platform fighter... so consistency in terms of source material has never been too important (or practical). There are many wacky one-off things that could be pulled from episodes to meet move set demand. Of course, we're also just fantasizing here since this ain't gonna happen... but it's funny to think if it did it would be the most frames of animation he'd ever have.

Still, unique Carl dialogue for other characters would be amazing... not that they'd put Carl sexually harassing Wonder Woman verbally like would be proper.

Multiversus unofficially cut off mod support with the latest patch. No loss; most were characters from other games, nothing original.

Also, this dev team is one of them "we fixed a bug, 3 more appeared". Now there's no working cooldowns, some visual issues, and the old bugs are still there.

That’s not what happened with it, though there was a mistake made.

I've been solo queuing for 2v2 more since my brother is too busy for much playing and it sure is a mixed bag. When you get matched with competent team mates 2v2 is super fun, wrecking people who are super high level and obviously party queue'd with team mates who have the IQ to change around perks for synergy and are mindful of your character's kit is just exquisite. However, getting braindead companions is such a bummer... they usually end up losing 3 of the 4 stocks and smart opponents quickly realize to target the weak link. I had a match where after losing on the stat screen my teammate LeBron did around 20 damage to my high 400ish and I didn't even realize he was hardly contributing until then since I was having to focus so hard without real support.

I still wonder if matchmaking considers character level/character rank/MMR... my 1v1s have become mostly very challenging nail-biters (save the occasional high level character carried by a top tier and getting wrecked when I know how to deal with it) while my 2v2s have been matching me with higher quality team mates much more consistently, and the only time I see low levels are party queue'd with a high level. If that is the case, I wonder if ranked will actually change anything about matchmaking outside of assigning you a number.

I feel like ranked will better weed out bad players from good since that’s the entire point of ranked, but I don’t think it’ll ever be a real solution for casuals, because that whole “bad other player” thing is in a ton of fighting games.

I think Ranked will ruin the game.

Unlike Smash or Rivals of Aether, Multiversus is not really as flashed out and the matches don't feel as satisfying of fair. The movesets are a lot wider and it's not as easy to zone someone out or 'exhaust' them and watch them fall defenselessly off the stage.

I think the 2 dodges/2 specials system is to blame. It makes defensive play to safe and recovery too easy to counter/predict, especially with characters who have generous air attack hitboxes. It might not be as big of a problem in 2v2, but in 1v1 it is quite problematic.
