Was Chris' dry-up inevitable?

I've said it often, but his only real options in this whole mess have always been to either hide or to embrace it. He hasn't done either and I'm not sure if he is even capable of doing either. Hiding requires a lot of effort and Chris is already attention starved. Embracing it would probably result in him getting roped into more tricks and trolling situations. What's the half-assed middle ground that doesn't require effort? Exactly what he's doing right now.

While we're on the subject of insiders and all that: do the people in regular contact with Chris have any sort of "exit strategy" or are they just going to abandon him one day? Or would he not notice either way?
Eh, there's not really anyone in regular contact with Chris. There doesn't need to be an exercise strategy because contact with Chris is fairly rare.

Like with Anna, Anna gets a message from Chris maybe a few times a year. Shit, at that level of activity, she could just ignore him. Or write up a five minute asspatty response. Either or, it's not a big impact on her life.

I'd like to think that all this silent time is from Chris getting doing productive shit and getting his life back together. Exercising, cleaning the houses, showering, having friends without scaring them away. Not likely but one can hope?
Heh, he thinks that he does exercise in his normal routine. And nah, they're not cleaning the house, they're actually dumping more barbage into it.

Maybe Chris and Barb are spending their time at local thrift stores hunting for more barbage to fill up the new house. They never learn, do they?

Yes.
The phenomena that was Chris-Chan is analogous to a small child hyped on sugar or caffeine. When he was producing content and making a large-scale ass out of himself its comparable to a kid going apeshit after drinking 4 cans of Coke. Active, little self control, constantly moving and prompted by more sugary goodness (in Chris's case, his sweethearts asking for content, his inspiration from everyday and trolling occurrences, ect). Eventually the sugar high wears off leaving the kid tired and finished, literally like Chris when he crashes into slumber or is otherwise quiet. At some point the kids grow up and isn't effected or the sugar just stops coming.

We may always see trickles of activity, like Facebook posts or IRL sightings, but I think it would take something huge to get anything major.

I know EXACTLY what's happening at the Chandler house on Yabba Dabba Doo Drive:

...Except it's taking place in here:

Do we know what lego creation is in the background in this pic? It looks like he's rebuilding lego CWCville or something and just showing everyone MHS and not the rest.

Maybe Chris' current days are occupied mostly with lego and other nicknack type hobbies and that's why he's been so scarce on PSN.

He's also trying to sell shit from 14BC on e-bay (at least some model airplanes and that violin right?) so maybe they're going through the horde more than we though?

Well obviously Chris would get a lifetime supply of ramen from Waterhead and the best vibes possibly from Anna. Possibly a FB post about global warming because Chris could possibly use that an excuse for the storm.

It'd be interesting aftermath, for sure. Watching Chris react to disasters that are unequivocally NOT caused by trolls is always fascinating, because he just doesn't know HOW to react when he can't blame someone else. The fire and the time he reformatted his PS3, he had no clue what to do. If a natural disaster occurred he would be reduced to spluttering and incoherent helpless rage with no one to blame.

It seems like there is probably a certain amount to do, with recreating a comfort zone in his new surroundings, dealing with 14 BLC, helping Barb, etc.

As much as Chris likes to remain in his little rut and play vidya all day, it takes a little bit of time to get the rut fulling formed again after it burned down.

he's still playing that iOS The Simpsons game religiously daily. I can only see that he plays it everyday, but not how long each day. The game isn't even that complicated, it's mostly sending characters on timed 'quests' for rewards and tapping things.
So it's like Mafia Wars, but more mindless? I bet Chris is on top of buying every new piece of DLC that comes out. He's probably spent hundreds on it total (but remember, he and his mother "don't have a lot of money").

I think someone who plays the game on here did an estimation on how much he paid when we first learned he played the game. Yes he is already in the hundreds.

Of course he buys every little piece of crap they put out. You just can't enjoy the game unless you've spent 5 bucks to purchase Frank Grimes apartment from episode 4g99, can you? Of course you can't.

I'm pretty sure that's the older, melted version of Lego Manchester. Based on all of the pictures that have been put out, he seems to have rebuilt it (most likely thanks to donations and the :tugboat:), recycling certain parts of the old one.

FREAKING EMMANUEL GODBEAR.

He's the Internet Bizarro Batman. The Sperg we need, but don't deserve. His ways are mysteries and full of dirty crapped briefs.
