Wawa put me through college. I still go for the free ATM and sometimes if I need a coffee on go.

Hoagie fest is based and 6 is a deal at current price, last year's were 5 but things change. (Shorties are 5).

My favorite by far meatball sub spinach hot peppers roasted peppers.

For those not in area it's as good as most sit down restaurants meatball subs.

Wawa also used to be better back in day and so based pre the order screen that shows the sandwich maker how much to use of a product. Since I lived off it in college I'd get to chat with the people and end up with like 11 meatballs stuffed on 6" inches of bread haha.

Best thing they have is rewards members on some months get a free coffee no strings. I'll swing by use the free ATM get a coffee just free 24oz of cuban roast. Shit was comfy.

Last thing as I preach it's greatness I'm too old to eat them and not coma but the breakfast Sammich offerings are great. Since I am a weirdo who still eats pork roll and getting it for one person at store is wasteful I'll grab that on a bagel with egg cheese and hot sauce.

I have no idea what Wawa is like but Statoil was stellar, they didn't make the baguettes of course but those were really good and you could buy the thermos mug that gave you free coffee at all stations!

I like Cumberland Farms. Their breakfast sandwiches (sausage>bacon), coffee, and hotdogs are all pretty good, and their pizza and hamburger rollers are both decent as well. Haven't tried anything else, other than some spicy breakfast roller thing that I didn't really like.

Edit: The donuts and cookies are pretty good too, but that's not really hard to achieve.

Wawa is only good for hoagies and drinks. The Tenders aren't bad, but I wouldn't buy a burger or pasta from Wawa. Now if you want some really good chicken, Royal Farms usually cooks some good fried chicken and chicken sandwiches.

When I travelled the South with my family as a kid, I always found boiled peanuts at middle of nowhere gas stations to be pretty good.

No, I have not had an X-ray for tapeworms.

In a certain part of my city all the gas stations sell quality fried chicken + other stuff its so weird everywhere else they just do cold sandwiches and a hot dog or pizza slice under a heat lamp

Gas Station fried chicken is either "OMG why" or "holy shit why have they not franchised yet". From my experience, the best fried chicken comes from country Gas Stations where the owner uses his moms recipe and an actual resteraunt deep fryer.

And yes, I do get my fried chicken from a certain gas station. Can't say which one or where because tmi, but it's an ExxonMobil station and it's chicken is amazing.

I fucked with the burgers drunk and cheaper than micky D's and also in walking range. Pasta god knows why? I haven't tried, nor will i.

Rofo, meh also their coffee system here sucks, it's like 5 kinds from one nozzle. Mrs Basso likes Rofo spicy tendies.

I also have a happy memory from Rofo, they are near one of my gun stores I haunt, I got delayed on my background check so we hit a Rofo (pops and I since he likes watching me buy too many guns) we got really nice beers some chicken chilled in this comfy park, 90 mins later they called picked my gat up. But just pops and I sipping IPA eating some fried chicken in my Jag was kino.

For Wawa PPL ending Hoagie Fest soon.
