it sucks living like this i can never have something delivered to me i must go to the post office to pick it up because the post workers can't find their way around here there isn't a road so they must walk to the neighbourhood and then he has to search for my apartment without numbers on them so he has to count and we don't have a working elevator (we got one but it was built in 1968 and it died in 1997)

Last time I got something from Amazon, I was inside and since home left my garage open as I often do in the summer when home.
The amazon dude put it on my garage door step to my house (it's a connected garage) kinda weird dude went inside my garage. Instead of leaving at door step of garage or my front door.
So I too know your struggle.

and if he follows the main path (which noobs who don't know our neighbourhood do) he'll get torn by a violent pack of dogs that are camping here for i don't even know how long. whenever someone has a crazy mad pet or wants to ditch him he drops it there and anyone going there will be needing stitches afterwards. you must go the alternative way but it's not easy to find

The first thing @KemChy should know about is the necessity to every now and then underline a post by supporting it using personal experience or details from his own life - just to show that he's knowledgable about whatever he's commenting on and to liven up the discussion.
The mods are always up for a bit of silly banter, so if they seem to criticise you, chances are they are just making a joke. Show them your wits by firing back in the same style and you'll fit right in.
When you have something relevant to comment, even if it's an old thread, feel free to post away, it's nice when a classic thread gets brought back to the frontpage.
If you get too excited and realize that you accidentally double posted, say you're sorry for double posting. Since you already double posted, there is no need to use the edit function, just make a new post to announce you're sorry.
Blow off some steam regularly if you need to. When a lolcow pisses you off, you might as well just comment on how much you hate them and what bad things you wish upon them. It'll act as a valve and free your mind, you can then dedicate more of your facilities to quality posting. You don't want these bad feelings to linger too long, do you?
When a lolcow is in the same fandom as you and does something stupid, you might wanna explain why that pisses you off and why you fear that might give people of your fandom a bad name. After all, shedding some light on the precise workings of such fandoms can help to better understand just how silly a lolcow is acting.
Also, as Alan John Jones III can confirm, we like to haze the new guys a little, so don't get distraught over stuff like what's happeing right now. Just go forward unafraid and you'll be fine. I promise.
